Week 11 – My Reformaskin journey with Caci Clinic

2 weeks after my AHA peel facial, I was supposed to be back again for my Microdermabrasion, but I fell really sick that morning and I had to call in to cancel. The ladies at the clinic were really nice and understanding, so I told them I will call in again to rebook. After about 3 days, I called to rebook and was able to book in for my usual time the next day.

Just a quick update on my skin, I recently stopped taking the Biotin supplements which I have been taking for about 4-5 months now. I noticed in an article lately that Biotin can be a big cause of acne and I decided to stop taking it to see how it affects my skin. So far, I have stopped for 2 weeks and I could see a major improvement! I also started using my Dermalogica Breakout Control during the day and Overnight Clearing Treatment at night to help clear the current breakouts. They are working wonders!

29/3/18 – After my 4th Microdermabrasion at Caci Clinic

As usual, posting my after photo post-microdermabrasion with no makeup on at all except my brows. The facialist I had today was really nice, her technique was great and she was kind enough to ask me if I want to turn up or dial down the intensity at certain areas.

Personally, I feel more discomfort around my temples, cheekbones and jawline area, but I was told a lot of people felt more discomfort around the forehead because it was a lot closer to the bones. I guess each person has a different pain or discomfort threshold.

My next appointment is not for another 3 weeks which is an unexpectedly long. I was actually expecting another collagen induction before a facial, but whatever.
