Clarins Value Packs

I personally love value packs because the value is always much more than the cost and you can try new products without taking the plunge. In this case, the total value of this pack is $217 and it only cost me $83. I usually like to buy value packs because, for the price of say, a full sized product, you get really good deluxe sized or travel-sized samples to try.

Clarins Restoring Value Pack

For this pack I got, the Cleansing Milk is a full sized product that would easily cost me over $60 if I buy full price, and the rest of the products are basically around $20 for the lot. I like to try out different skincare products so skincare packs attract me the most.

Clarins always do awesome value packs and gift with purchase because they have a very good range of skincare, body care and makeup. Their skincare and body products are really high quality and I love them so much.

Clarins Restoring Value Pack

Clarins Super Restorative Day Cream SPF20 (30ml. $165 for 50ml). For the first time in its history, Clarins has collaborated with the renowned French CNRS Research Institute. During this research Clarins has identified a new plant extract, Harungana, that has exceptional redensifing action – it has been proven to be more effective than retinol. The NEW Super Restorative Day Creams combine Harungana Extract with Mineral pigments and stabilised Vitamin C derivative for a healthy glow effect and Double Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid, Shea Butter and Mango Butter for hydration.

This day cream has a rather thick texture when squeezed out from the tube, but it goes onto the skin smoothly and spreads easily without feeling too thick and heavy. It has a slight sophisticated fragrance but doesn’t linger for too long. SPF20 is nice, but I would always apply something that has at least SPF30 so I always apply either a sunscreen or a makeup base with SPF 30.

Clarins Cleansing Milk for Normal to Dry skin (200ml full size).  Soothing cleansing milk lifts away make-up and impurities with spa-like efficiency. Clarins’ blend of softening and toning plant extracts—including Alpine Herbs, St. John’s Wort, Sweet Almond, Marshmallow and Linden—helps maintain skin’s perfect moisture balance for optimum comfort and radiance. Leaves skin feeling soft, supple and perfectly refreshed.

I thought I already have a bottle of this, but the one I have is called Anti-pollution Cleansing Milk. They look the same, with alpine herbs and moringa for normal to dry skin. I think they are the same but called different for some reason. Anyway, the cleansing milk is quite nice and it smells good too. I like to use a cleansing milk in the morning because it is quite gentle and I like a good foaming cleanser to take the day off at night.

Clarins Instant Eye Make-Up Remover (50ml. $51 for 125ml). Refreshing, dual-action lotion with soothing Rose and Cornflower extracts and ultra-fine oils- smoothes away waterproof and heavy eye makeup instantly and completely.

This two-phase eye makeup remover feels light and non-greasy. Shake well before use and saturate a cotton pad to clean off any makeup. It removes my waterproof mascara and long-lasting eyeliner.

Clarins Super Restorative Hand Cream (30ml. $82 for 100ml). New Super Restorative Hand Cream is the ideal skin care for beautiful hands that do not show your age or the harmful effects of harsh environmental influences. Upon application, this melting cream texture leaves skin soft, smooth and supple, with no oily or sticky feel. Used regularly, its replenishing and strengthening combination of plant extracts helps maintain a beautiful, youthful looking appearance from wrist to fingertips.

This hand cream feels really luxurious and smells very nice. It instantly hydrates my hands and nails and it takes a little bit of time to absorb. It also has a gentle fragrance. I like to use this at night before bedtime or after my shower to protect and nourish my hands.

Clarins Super Restorative Hand Cream

Clarins Toning Lotion (50ml. $54 for 200ml). For Dry/Normal Skin. Alcohol-free toner-with gentle Camomile, Alpine Herbs, and Linden extracts-removes every last trace of cleanser leaving dry or normal skin clean and perfectly radiant. Softens, soothes and smoothes irritations. Also, preps skin for the Clarins treatments that follows. Apply after Cleansing Milk. Dampen two small cotton pads with Toning Lotion and lightly sweep over the face, around the eyes and over the neck. Blot dry with a tissue.

I already have a travel size bottle of this toning lotion from a previous pack so this will be a backup. I always like an alcohol-free toner because toners will alcohol always cause me to breakout. This cleanses off every last trace of impurities and hydrates my skin lightly.

Clarins Toning Lotion

Clarins Double Serum and Super Restorative Day cream sample. These little sachets are great for travel and each sachet is supposed to last you for one day (day and night), but I find that the day cream can last me 3-4 uses. The double serum is supposed to be used under the moisturiser and you can use it day and night.

Overall: Very good value bearing in mind that the Super Restorative Day Cream costs $165 for a 50ml size and the hand cream is $80 for a 100ml. The bonus double serum is also great for people who hasn’t tried it before or take it to travel. These are also great as gifts and you can also split them up and give them to your friends and family. The other set (hydrating) contains the same toning lotion, but a different day cream, hand cream, makeup remover and a different cleanser.
