Where I got it: I got this from The Warehouse for $12.74 which they were having a 25% off all Rimmel products. I have been hearing good things about this concealer which is great for highlighting and concealing the under eye area for a more ‘awake’ look.
What I got: This is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in 030 Classic Beige. Conceals and illuminates under the eyes and conceals blemishes. Available in Ivory, Classic Beige and Soft Beige.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
How I find it: The colour match was pretty good as a highlighting concealer as it is about 1-2 shades lighter than my skin tone. It has a neutral to almost yellow undertones to it. It is quite creamy and pigmented. It blends out easily with either my fingertips or a slightly damp sponge. However, I prefer to use my fingertips as it doesn’t absorb any products. I do find that I need to powder my under eye area to prevent this from creasing and setting it down to last the whole day. I love using my Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder to set all under eye concealers.

Overall: The downside of this concealer is the lack of shades available to choose from (only 3), but I quite like to formula – it is not too creamy and not too matte. It is a good medium coverage that doesn’t feel heavy or cakey on the eye area. It blends out smoothly and easily without accentuating my slightly dry skin under the eyes and my fine lines or pores. I also like to use this around the corners my mouth to brighten that area and it doesn’t really fall into fine lines.
