How I find it: I have been quite interested in GlamGlow products for a while now and I couldn’t put a finger on which one to buy and the fact that it was rather expensive for a clay mask. In the end, I chose to try the POWDERMUD for deep cleansing. The tub is quite sturdy and has a foil seal to protect the product inside. The mud is not really thick and a kind of look and feel a little gel like as well. It smells fruity but also a bit chemical at the same time. I use a spatula to get a decent sized scoop and apply with my fingertips. An even thin layer will do. It glides on easily with a bit of exfoliating bits in it. Immediately I feel a tingling sensation which lasts about a minute or so. Dries down in about 10 minutes to a tight feeling in the skin but not crackling dry. Add a bit of water to help remove the mask and turns into an oil consistency. Massage gently and rinse off.
Overall: After washing the mask off, my skin does feel really clean and smooth. My blackheads have lightened in colour and I have no redness or sensitivity on my skin. The mask itself is quite pleasant with a tingling sensation that is bearable. This little jar doesn’t have much product and I have been using this twice a week for 2 weeks now. I love the immediate results and how clean my pores look and how smooth my skin feels. I did notice after 2 uses, some of the breakouts around my chin area has diminished, I wonder if it is this mask or other products I’ve also been using? I ‘ll continue to use this to see if it clears all the blemishes. Honestly, I feel that my Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask can do just as good of a job than this can just without the tingling sensation and Kiehl’s is much more affordable.
