The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Cream Body Scrub

Where I got it: I was shopping for Mother’s Day present for my mum and they were having a promotion where if you spend over $90 you get a very nice gift set (Full sized Virgin Mojito Body Sorbet and Body Butter!), so I picked up a few items for myself too! I also picked up the Tee Tree Skin Clearing Body Wash. This body scrub was $37.50.

What I got: This is a 200ml tub of The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Cream Body Scrub.  This gently exfoliating body scrub smells like freshly picked peaches. It lifts away dead skin cells and leaves skin peachy-soft. Lifts away dead skin cells and stimulates skin surface microcirculation. Leaves skin feeling softer and smoother with a delicate peach scent.

How I find it: I have seen this at The Body Shop for a while now and this, along with the Fuji Green Tea were the 2 scent that I wanted to try out. However, at the shop, I smelled them both and I decided to go for something fruity simply because it just makes me feel so happy! Most of the time, I use this body scrub instead of using any body wash at all, but of course, I use a body wash for more intimate areas for a good clean and you are not supposed to scrub those areas anyway. The scrub doesn’t leave an oily residue on the skin or make it feel slippery so I feel alright to use this on its own. The scrub is quite creamy but not too thick that you can’t get a good exfoliation. The granules are of crushed peach kernels and coconut shell powders so they are not killing our sea animals (YAY!) On wet skin, the creamy base spreads easily to help the scrub move around the skin without needing to use too much product. I love how the granules move so easily and evenly on the skin without much effort. Washing off is easy and the granules goes down the drain easily without leaving oily residue or granules on the shower floor (no complaints from Hubby!).

Overall: Loved this smell so much! It is really peachy, but some might think it is a little artificial because it is rather strong. That is why I got the scrub instead of the body butter because I can’t really stand really strong smelling body lotion/creams. Moreover, my hubby hates it too when I wear something strong. The body scrub leaves just the right amount of scent that it is not offensive to anyone and I can smell it when I move around which I really love. Exfoliation is really good and it is not too harsh on the skin. I leave this in the shower and use it about 2-3 times a week or whenever I feel like it. Awesome buy, I love it.
