Nivea Q10 plus Anti-wrinkle CC Cream box and tube

Where I got it: I was sent this for consideration, but this is available nationally from supermarkets and selected pharmacies for $19.99. They will be available from April.

What I got: This is a 50ml tube of Nivea’s Q10 plus Anti-wrinkle CC Cream with SPF 15.  CC cream stands for Color Correction I guess everybody knows that by now. CC cream claims to provide anti-wrinkle protection, color correction, even skin tone, brighten the skin, provide hydration and sun protection wtih SPF15+. BB cream provides more coverage compared to CC cream. This CC cream claims to visibly reduces wrinkles and corrects skin imperfections. It contains Co-Enzyme Q10 to support the skin natural repair, Creatine to provide a boost of energy to aid the skin’s renewal process and skin-perfecting mineral pigments to help skin look flawless.  It has a sheer tint so one shade should suit most skin tones. It is in a plastic squeeze tube with a twist off lid so dispensing of this CC cream is quite easy to control.

How I find it: I use about the amount shown above after my toner as a moisturiser. I love how it has SPF15 so I don’t have to pile on sunscreen before this CC cream. The shade looks good on the back of my hand, it is not too pale, not grey-looking which some BB cream does, and not too pink. Some of you may feel that it is a bit yellowish or dark, but once it is spread out onto the skin, the color is really sheer. The CC cream is on the moisturising side, so it is great for normal to dry skin. I have combination/oily skin so I will usually use a mattifying powder (I love my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder) over where I tend to have excess oil production (nose and forehead). This CC cream is great on my normal to drier areas of my face, I don’t feel at all dry or needing to apply something else over the top. It is not a heavy textured CC cream and it gives a bit of a dewy to natural finish on the skin.

Nivea Q10 plus Anti-wrinkle CC Cream worn on me with

Overall: I was half expecting that this CC cream will be too moisturising for my skin type being that it is anti-wrinkle, but surprisingly it feels really nice on my skin and did not break me out. The longevity of this CC cream is not very high, but the light coverage is just what I need for everyday wear and for work. I love how the shade is quite sheer and did not mask out my natural skin showing through. If you are wanting even skin tone, natural looking coverage and multi-tasking products, you should try Nivea Q10 anti-wrinkle CC cream!
