Where I got it
I ordered this on StyleKorean.com for US$26.10. This is the improved version with more shade options. The original version (without the letter V) only has 3 shades – #light, #medium, and #deep. But the new version has 5 shades – #200 fair, #201 light, #202 natural, #203 medium, and #204 tan.

How I find it
The first time I saw this foundation being marketed by the StyleKorean team, I was not interested because I simply already have a lot of foundation, and have already found a few that I love. However, I fell into the trap of a ‘viral’ and ‘best-selling’ product, I caved and bought one while StyleKorean had a special.
I picked shade 202 Natural, which is about the middle of the shade range available. K-beauty foundation or complexion products lean quite fair/light. Usually I am light to medium with a yellow/neutral undertone. However, in Asia my skin tone is probably a solid medium with a yellow undertone. Therefore, while 202 Natural seems OK, I think a mixture of 203 Medium might also work on me.

Brush
I was actually surprised that the foundation stick is quite large as it does contain a small brush on the other end. The entire component is plastic with a twist-up mechanism for the foundation end. The brush end could also be twisted off for cleaning.
Before touching the foundation stick, the product is white. When you swipe over the product, you can see the specks of pigment blending into the white base. It looks a little gritty and not smooth-looking, but that is the colour pigments in the formula that made it that way. As the pigment breaks down, the specks will disappear.

This foundation does not have any SPF, so make sure you use SPF underneath. I usually swipe the foundation all over my face and then blend out. However, the formula is a little dry from the stick, and by the time you want to blend the other side it would be a little difficult to get a good seamless blend.

Blending out with the brush
After the first try, I realised that I used a little too much product and my complexion looked a little pale, similar to a sunscreen white cast. At this time, I knew this shade was a tad fair for my skin tone, and I can see my neck is a significant deeper shade.
However, I could still make it work by focusing on the central part of my face, working outwards. A single layer of product, blended out evenly made has worked for me.

The finish is natural, almost a little mattifying. Definitely not dewy or glowy.
Overall
I have been using this for a good week for work, for the weekend, wearing it for 2-3 hours and up to 7 hours for the day. For a short period of time (1-2 hours) the foundation looks good. As soon as my natural oils came through, it fused with the foundation so that it’s not too drying. However, the longer I wear it, I feel that my skin felt a little dehydrated and the foundation started to sink into some of my lines and pores, especially on my chin and nose area.
I don’t think this foundation stick is good for touch-up, as I think it would look quite cakey and just look horrible. If you have good skin (i.e. no dry patches, enlarged pores), I think it would look nice. But I often prefer light coverage, but with a natural to slightly glowy finish. This one is a little drying on my skin and the longer I wear it, the more I feel it is not doing my hydration or moisture levels any favours.
Overall, I don’t think I would wear this as a full coverage foundation that I would layer on all over my face, but I would only use this in light layers to even out my skin tone. If it is thick enough to cover my blemishes, it would look too cakey for me. If you want to try a good foundation stick, I would 100% recommend the Dior foundation stick – so so good.
