Where I got it
I saw this in a email from Assembly Label that this wool jacket is back in stock and it was highly requested to be restocked. The short jacket with a slightly boxy fit looked really nice and it is 100% wool for only $240. I ordered it straight away. It arrived within 4 days and I wore it out pretty much immediately on the next day. I have ordered from Assembly Label before and I really like their style and colours. Currently this colour is out of stock, but there are some sizes available in black colour.

How I find it
Right off the bat, I love the camel colour. This shade matches my wardrobe very much and it is very easy to pair. The brown buttons matched the colour of the jacket nicely and there is no contrast stitching, so the jacket is modest. You could easily match this with all shades of denim, black pants, pretty much anything.

The jacket is not lined but is super soft and smooth on the inside face, so you don’t need to worry about wool itching your skin. The pockets are a cute detail that I really like and they are functional, not just for the looks.
The fit of this jacket is true to size. I don’t have wide shoulders, but my arms are not exactly slim. But size small is a perfect fit for me, even when I am wearing a thin knit sweater or a shirt underneath. I like to wear this unbuttoned most of the time, but when it gets cold, I could easily button the jacket without looking and feeling bulky and restricted.

Overall
I am so happy with this purchase, and I can see myself wearing this a lot. It is warm, but not too warm, so I would say this is great in Spring and Autumn when it is a little chilly, but you don’t want to be bulky. This cropped length suits me perfectly as it fits just right at the hips. The length of the sleeves is also very sleek. You can easily show a bit of wrist accessories or a bit of your shirt underneath. Love it.
The jacket is 100% wool therefore not recommended to wash in the machine or hand wash. You can dry clean it or spot clean with a cloth. After each wear, I would use a cashmere/wool deodorised spray on it and then hang it up to air out. I would keep it out of direct sun for prolonged period and also keep it away from anything that would snag it in the wardrobe. To store away during summer months, I like to use a cover to protect it from moths, humidity and any items that may snag it.
