Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Probiotic Essence and Airyfit Daily Sunscreen

Where I got it

I was sent this as part of a YesStyle x Haruharu Wonder trial event. I was sent two products in exchange for my honest review. Haruharu Wonder has a wide range of products, but I have yet to try any of them. So I am very excited to give these a go. I have already posted a IG post/reel of my first impression to these two products, and this is a a review after I’ve been using this for well over 4 weeks.

What I got

I was sent the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Airyfit Daily Sunscreen SPF50 PA++++ (50ml), and a Black Rice Probiotics Barrier Essence (120ml).

Enriched with phytosterols and cholesterol to help maintain moisture balance and rejuvenate your skin. Contains skin-nourishing probiotics like Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate to improve skin elasticity and overall moisture level.  Infused with upcycled black rice lees extract to provide intense antioxidant and soothing effects. How I find it

After cleansing and toning, I tried the Barrier Essence. Initially, I was under the impression that this would be a watery milky toner, but the consistency is actually like a lotion. It’s a little thick to be in a pour-out toner bottle. You need to shake it a little to get the product out. This essence is so soothing and hydrating on the skin. My combination skin loves this! It is not sticky or greasy, and it provides the perfect balance of hydration and moisture so it’s not too thick and heavy. I reach for this in my AM and PM routine and it works amazing on my skin. If you have normal to dry skin, your skin would love it!

Then we have the Airyfit Sunscreen. As per the norm, SPF50 is the minimum standard in Korea and I love that. I can always trust that their sunscreens are cosmetically elegant. It is never thick and hard to blend, or smelly and pore-clogging. This one here has a creamy texture that is super blendable, moisturising and lightly glowy. No white cast or tone-up effect, and it blends out invisible. So no need to worry about looking pale or ghostly. I love how this comes in an airless pump with a lid, it’s easy to use and very convenient.

Overall

I am so happy to finally try something from Haruharuy Wonder and both of these products exceeded my expectations. The Barrier Essence is such an amazing find! I often find myself reaching for it like a milky toner, but this is an essence. This essence is hydrating and moisturising at the same time, it is not sticky at all, and not super dewy. It is suitable for all skin types. The Airyfit daily sunscreen is a creamy sunscreen. It has a medium thickness consistency so it’s not an ultra-lightweight fluid. It is moistuising with a natural finish, and does not leave a white cast. I would sya this is good for all skin types, maybe not for oily skin or if you want something ultra lightweight and fluid.

I will definitely finish these two products and would love to try more from the brand. I would love to try more from the Black Rice range and one of their serums.
