Wishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash

Where I got it

I got this from Hikoco Sylvia Park as they were having 20% off everything Wishtrend and Klairs promo during the month of May. I picked this up for $24.80 after discount (usually $31). This is my first Wishtrend product and I’m quite excited.

How I find it

I am no stranger to powder cleanser or powder exfoliators. I have tried a number of different brands before (Dermalogica, Tatcha, Dior, etc.) and I really enjoy this type of product. They are super gentle with exfoliation and effective at the same time. Generally easy to use and a little goes a long way. I remove all makeup off my face, pat dry my skin and then pour the powder on my hands and mix in a little bit of water. I then spread the lather on my palms and massage it all over my skin. Rinse off and my skin feels clean and smooth.

Overall

Love the smell of this powder as it smells like matcha! Once the powder is mixed with water, it loses a bit of the grittiness, but the soft grit still exfoliates the skin well without being too abrasive and harsh. Washing the powder off is easy without leaving any residue, but the skin does feel a little dry and slightly dehydrated, so I applied toner and hydrating products right away. I would use this maybe twice a week at the most because it is an exfoliating product and I usually use either a BHA or an AHA toner or serum anyway, I don’t need to double up on the exfoliation.

This powder is really affordable compared to the Dior, Tatcha and Dermalogica ones so I would most likely repurchase this one.
