L’Occitane Herbae Parfum

Mother’s day just passed and a few days before that I was jokingly telling my hubby what I wanted for Mother’s Day (we usually don’t get each other gifts for mother’s day or father’s day). I said to him that he could get me a gift card for Mecca or L’Occitane and his response was “why just go in stores and buy it yourself”. And so I did.

L’Occitane Herbae Parfum

This is the latest launch in L’Occitane and it seems to be a big launch as well. It is a new perfume called Herbae. It was all over the store-front, and the backdrop and posters were all grassy, floral and fresh. This new perfume is “a remarkable green, fresh floral fragrance of wild grasses mingling with explosive notes of bramble, wild rose and white nettle.”

There are a couple of product with this collection, 2 sizes for the perfume (10, 50 and 90ml), a Beauty Milk (body lotion), Perfumed Soap, Shower Gel and Hand Cream.

L’Occitane Herbae Parfum

Citrusy and spicy head notes of bergamot and pink pepper give way to an intrepid, enthralling heart in which wild rose encounters the sharpness of bramble, evoking the scents of a stroll through the forest. Finally, the fragrance settles into a base of sweet vernal grass, its warm and coumarin notes tinged with honey and accentuated by woody and spicy undertones of cashmeran. Its musky facets are enhanced by a touch of musk, giving the ensemble a beautiful roundness.
