L’Oréal Infallible 24H Concealer Pomade

L’Oréal Infallible 24H Concealer Pomade

Where I got it: I got this from the Chemist Warehouse for $13.99 down from $16.99. I think they were available from the Chemist Warehouse even before they were available from other locations like Farmers or Life Pharmacies because the CW is an Australian franchise. They are also cheaper at the CW too.

What I got: This is the 24hr Infallible Concealer Pomade by L’Oréal. Shade is 1.5 Light Medium. Introducing NEW Infallible concealer pomade, our 1st full coverage concealer pomade to cover dark circles, blur imperfection and hide blemishes, for up to 24 hours. The highly pigmented creamy formula blends seamlessly, for easy, smooth application, crease resistant finish and all day wear. For targeted colour correction, use the universal peach concealer to neutralize dark circles, hyperpigmentation and dark spots, for an ultra-flawless canvas.

How I find it: The concealer pomade comes in a little glass pot with a screw on plastic lid. The formula is not waxy but a thick creamy consistency. It has an almost dry formula and I simply use my fingertips to warm up the product then just pat on the areas and blend with my fingers.

This concealer works nicely on my under eye area as it is not too creamy that is moves around and gets into creases quickly, it stays put and you can set it worth powder for extra staying power. This formula is great for concealer dark spots or blemishes (not raised, but redness, under-the-skin types) because it is again not too creamy or slippery. You only need to a little bit and just blend the edges.

Overall: This concealer pomade works for my skin type and how I like to work with concealers, especially my under eye area. This might not be suitable if your under eye area tends to be dry and flakey because this is not a moisturising or hydrating formula. But if you find those liquid concealers too moisturising or too creamy and creases too easily, you might like to give this a try. However, the downside to this is that there are only 3 shade options (what?! Only 3??) with a peach shade to cancel out blue/purple dark undereye circles. Also the pot packaging is at a risk of drying out way too fast. Well, I just need to see how long it lasts me before it dries out.
