I tend to go for white gold or champagne shades, but I am also adventurous and would try the holographic ones. You should see my pressed powder or cream highlighters, I have ones with a green undertone, blue undertone, orange undertones, etc.

Overall I can say hands down, the best formula would be the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops. They are just pure molten metal. They are super pigmented, never streaky, easy to blend and are highly reflective. A little goes a long way. The MAC and NIOD and Lancome Custom Strobing Drops are the most versatile which can be mixed into the foundation without making your skin too shiny. They are more subtle but can also be used on their own to create a more natural, dewy-skin look. The Lancome Click & Glow pens and the Estee Lauder Genuine Glow are most travel-friendly and are great on-the-go. They can be layered on for a more intense look. The Wet n Wild Hello Halo is a close dupe for the Cover FX Enhancer Drops but the consistency is just incomparable. They are a good affordable option which also has really nice shades. The Maybelline Master Strobing liquid is highly pigmented and stays on nicely on the skin, but I just don’t seem to reach for it for unknown reasons. As for the two Benefit highlighters – High Beam and Girl Meets Pearl are quite different in their formula. High Beam is more of a highlighting product for the high points, but Girl Meets Pearl is more of an overall skin illuminator which you can apply all over the face. Unfortunately, the Etude House Golden Ratio is the worse highlighter in my collection that I should throw away (I don’t use it anyway). It is way too yellow and the texture is just patchy.

What are your favourite highlighters? What do you recommend?
