How I find it: I always have trouble using something for the first time – I don’t read instructions and dive in head first. In this case, I did the same. After a nice shower and washing my hair, I towel dry my hair and I poured about a 1cm diameter of this hair oil to my palms, work it into my damp hair. At first it didn’t seem to feel like I have put anything on my hair so I used another 1cm diameter on my hair. It wasn’t until I try to blow dry my hair that I see my hair was a little greasy looking and doesn’t look too fresh. I have applied too much. Second time round, I poured just a little bit less than 1cm diameter of this hair oil, massaged to my mid lengths and ends. Spread what’s left near my roots. After blow drying I will add a tiny bit for frizz control depending if I see the need (usually not because this hair oil is quite nourishing already).

Overall: Just a little of this nourishing hair oil goes a long long way! So use just a little to start with, then add when you blow dry, etc. It gives your hair a nice healthy shine and the scent is actually quite pleasant – not your usual sweet or floral or shea buttery scent that hair oils commonly have. The small pour bottle can be a little hard to control how many product comes out, but the size of the bottle is perfect for travelling. Makes my hair healthy looking and with a good healthy shine.
