Overall the consistency of the lipsticks is very much the same with a few of the more pastel colours a little drier than the darker red and berry shades. The lipstick can get a little dry if you don’t use them for a while, but all it takes to get them creamy and glide smoothly is to just warm it up either directly on your lips or on the back of your hand.
I personally love all the darker red and berry shades including some of the mauve-y pinks and the odd orange shade. However, I have to stay away from the pastel pink and lavender shades because it just doesn’t work for my skin tone and my lip’s natural shade. It just washes me out.
From the Karen Murrell website, shades 21-25 seem like their new shimmery/metallic shades which are really intriguing. I love wearing a bit of a shimmery lipstick every now and then as long as it is not drying.
