Manuka Doctor ApiNourish Rejuvenating Face Mask

What I got: This is a 50ml tub of Manuka Doctor ApiNourish Rejuvenating Face Mask. The intensive regenerative dual action of the Manuka Doctor Rejuvenation Face Mask helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while its antioxidant qualities support the anti-ageing of skin. Regular use of the Manuka Doctor Rejuvenation Face Mask may also help reduce the look of scars. Unlike traditional masks that usually sit on the surface of the skin, the Manuka Doctor Rejuvenation Face Mask nourishing formulation will disappears, absorbing into the skin, allowing it to go to work instantly. Containing the combination of age-defying key active ingredients; Purified Bee Venom (PBVTM) and UMF 18+ Manuka Honey, the Rejuvenating Face Mask will brighten and smooth the skin’s appearance in no time, leaving the skin with an overall even tone and revitalised youthful appearance. The powerful ability to hydrate the skin will enhance the skin’s radiance, boost its moisture level and visibly promote elasticity.

How I find it: So after cleansing and toning, when my skin is feeling a bit dry or dull I use this mask. Usually once a week or once a fortnight. The mask is quite thick so it might be easier to scoop it out with a spatula instead of your fingers. I put an even layer all over my face and the mask is pretty much like a thick cream. It goes on a little white, but when you spread it out evenly, it disappears and even mattifies the skin a little. Feels comfortable on the skin and no tingling feeling at all. After about 10-15 minutes, I use a little bit of water to just wet the product on my face, then with a bit of massaging to loosen the mask. Then I rinse it off with the help of a face cloth or a washing sponge as the mask tends to be a bit hard to remove with just fingertips and water.

Manuka Doctor ApiNourish Rejuvenating Face Mask

Overall: This rejuventating mask is quite potent – it is thick, moisturising and protecting. When I have it on, it looks pretty much invisible – you can leave it on longer or shorter according to your skin type (the longer you leave the mask on the more rejunventing and moisturising it is for the skin). It has a slight scent to it but I don’t mind and I quite like it. My skin in combination/oily, but I am also concerned about dull skin and anti-aging so I use this on a fortnightly basis or just when I need a pick-me-up. I would recommend this for people with dry skin or mature skin to use this once or twice a week. If you are allergic to bee products or bee stings, please do not use. 🙂
