Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamorous Volume On Mascara

Where I got it: This was a gift from a friend in Hong Kong. It retails for HKD$128 which is around NZD$20.00. You can purchase this on Sasa.com.

What I got: This is the Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamorous Volume On Mascara. It has a double sided comb-style applicator and it is rather small to fit into tight areas and grab onto small baby lashes. One side has a wider comb for upper lashes, the other side is a tighter comb to pick up small lower lashes without messing up the lower eye area. It contains tiny little black fibres to lengthen lashes and the waterproof formula strengthens and enhances curls.

How I find it: After all my eye shadow is done, I curl my lashes and apply eyeliner. Then I apply a good coat of this mascara through my upper lashes. It is really easy to apply and the lashes do not bunch up together at all. It coats my lashes and separates them, holds the curl and thickens it slightly – not too much. I like to use about 2 coats and I think 3 coats would be great as well because it does not clump at all. I love the lengthening effect – the fibres are not fluffy or too long, the mascara formula is not too wet so that lashes stick together. This mascara is wonderful for my lashes! I use the tighter, smaller comb side for my lower lashes which applies mascara to my  lower lashes without making a mess. image

Overall: Great mascara, I love the formula and the comb. The size of the comb is great for the size of my lashes. It is waterproof and stays on all day even on my oily eyelids. However, it does take a good waterproof mascara remover to get this bad boy off. I tried using my DHC cleansing oil (didn’t really like this cleansing oil, but I wanted to use this up before starting with my Shu Uemura cleansing oil), but it didn’t do much. I had to use my Benefit They’re Real Eye Makeup Remover to get the rest off (love this stuff, see my review here).
