Weleda Milk Bath Range

Where I got it: I was sent this for consideration. This is available from selected pharmacies and health stores for NZD$29.90. What I got: This is a 200ml bottle of Lavendar Relaxing Milk Bath from Weleda. Organic lavender and precious organic sesame seed oil provide antioxidants, plus skin-friendly natural cleansers. This soothing and harmonising body wash also assists with skin conditions aggravated by stress. Lavender Relaxing Bath Milk is ideal to help find inner balance before sleep; a nightly bath helps you fall asleep more easily and promotes a peaceful night’s sleep. The harmonising fragrance can also be experienced in the shower, whirlpool or spa bath. All Weleda Bath Milks are made from carefully selected natural ingredients and are free from foaming detergents. The milks are well tolerated by the skin and are free from synthetic emulsifiers that can cause dryness. Also comes in Pine Reviving Bath Milk for a restorative pick-me up, Wild Rose Cream Bath Milk for a skin-pampering bath, Citrus Refreshing Bath Milk for a stimulating and cleansing bath and Rosemary

How I find it: Shake before use. Pour 2-3 capfuls into the running water to disperse the Bath Milk. A water temperature of 37°C/98°F is recommended. I don’t usually draw a bath as it does use a lot of water, but recently my feet and calves have been suffering from pregnancy hormones and are swelling up. It gets a little uncomfortable and it is hard for me to get to sleep. So I do a foot bath every night before I go to bed and this Lavender Relaxing Milk Bath is just the right thing to use – the lavender scent soothes my sense and the warm foot bath soothes my legs. I really enjoy this time in the bathroom! image Overall: This milk bath smells really soothing and relaxing of lavender. It pours out like milk and it is really easy to use too much. Just remember you only need a little bit! It doesn’t leave a slippery or oily residue on the bath or the foot tub so it is absolutely safe to get out of the bath without slipping. But I would say that it doesn’t do much on the moisturising of the skin. This is my life-saver at the moment for my swollen feet and soothing me before a good night’s sleep. Now I need some moisturising foot cream and some socks!
