La’bonic Tea Tree Pore Tightening Firming Mask (+giveaway)

Where I got it: I was sent this for review and you can buy this from www.labonic.com or from your local stockist for RRP$ 39.50.

What I got: This is a 70g tube of La’bonic’s Tea Tree Pore Tightening Firming Mask. Contains 74.2% Certified Organic Ingredients. As it dries, clear gel adheres to impurities and tightens pores. Blemishes are cleared and skin is brightened. Recommended for oily and problem skin – Cleans and tightens pores and prevents further breakouts. Light and soothing, this fresh gel soothes skin irritation and inflammation.

La’bonic Tea Tree Pore Tightening Firming Mask

How I find it: After cleansing with La’bonic Gentle Cold-pressed Cleanser, I dry my face and spread this mask all over my face avoiding the eye and lip area and I leave dry for 5-10 minutes. The mask turns from a translucent white gel to opaque when dry. Rinse with water and follow with La’bonic Organic Mattifying Toner, then La’bonic Liquid Gold Regenerating Night Oil or La’bonic Daily Defender SPF 15

Left: 5 minutes. Right: 10 minutes

Overall:  From the tube, the product looks like a gel-cream mask that will not dry up on the skin. However, after about 5 minutes, the mask starts to dry down like a white clay mask. At 10 minutes, the mask is fully dried, but not to a crackling shell. One very interesting thing is that the mask turns clear when in contact with water again, and the water doesn’t run white. Instead it runs clear like I just washed off a gel mask! Very intriguing. After washing off, my face feels really clean and very smooth. I feel that my pores are clean, but for pore tightening, I will need a couple more uses to see the full effects.
