Karl Lagerfeld Parfum

Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to the Karl Lagerfeld parfum launch and ColorWow launch at the Lumiere Studio in Parnell presented by BDM Grange (was lucky to find a parking easily as well).

I was greeted with a lovely coconut mocktail (everyone seems to be serving some coconut drink these days) and lovely little nibbles. After a bit of photo-taking and mingling, we all found our seats with goodie bags and sat down for the first presentation – Karl Lagerfeld’s new perfume for men and women.

So we all received a bottle of Karl Lagerfeld’s new perfume for women. The glass bottle design is sophisticated and classic with a good weight to it. I love the metallic collar detail that gives the bottle a more masculine look to it. The men’s version has a black bottle and the same collar design which is nice and simple.

The scent is a mixture of floral (magnolia and rose), fruits (lime and peach), musk and black ambery wood. It is not too overpowering and doesn’t give me a headache. The floral and citrus notes are the main scent.
