W cosmetics in Sylvia Park

On Boxing Day, W cosmetics opened its doors at Sylvia Park as their first store in New Zealand (second one in New Market opened shortly after on 31st December). This is an Australian store stocking many favourite and well-known k-beauty brands, and a variety of Japanese brands and some Chinese brands as well.

There are skincare brands like Medicube, VT cosmetics, d’Alba, SomeByMi, Purito, BOH Bioheal, Dr.G, Zero, Mixsoon, JM Solutions, Anua, Cosrx, Nineless, Arencia, Mediheal, I’m From, Klars, Dr. Jart, Needly, Laneige, TirTir, etc.

There are some Japanese skincare, but mostly sheet masks, and a few random brands and products from well known brands. There were also heaps of makeup – fwee, TIRTIR, Colorgram, FlowerKnows, Romand, Amuse, Canmake, Dasique, etc.

Other items include body wash, body lotion, hair care, hair dye, feminine hygiene, lip balms, some household cleaning items, home fragrance, makeup tools, false lashes, nail items, etc.

Below are some of the skincare brands..

I was there on the 30th, and they have been doing 20% off entire store (excluding brands like Amuse and Canmake) between 26/12 – 31/12). Therefore, a lot of the products were sold out and the store was in a little bit of a shambles in some places. Overall, I was thrilled to have some alone time to shop. I was like a kid in a candy shop or a toy shop. Testing out the testers, checking out prices, seeing what’s available for each brand.

There were some brands that offered a lot wider range, for example Anua, SomeByMi and Mixsoon had a good range of products. The range for VT cosmetics and Medicube were OK for a big brand, but I was hoping to see more from d’alba, something from ClearDea, Kopher, or Reju-all.

Japanese haircare… I love the &honey products and the Tsubaki hairmask!

There were a lot of makeup, K-beauty brands and Japanese brands… I haven’t taken a lot of photos because I was not too interested.

I honestly have a lot of products right now, it’s filling up to the brim of my drawers, so I will be slowing down on the skincare. Hence the majority of my haul is body/hair care. Only skincare I bought were sheet masks.
