Where I got it
I was super excited about this cleanser because the pictures of this brand and this cleanser is so interesting. The texture and consistency is fresh and new. The cushiony, mochi texture is not like any other cleaners I have tried. The aesthetics of the brand and its packaging is also very appealing to me. I bought these from StyleKorean as it was on TimeDeal at $11 each! They are usually $23 each.

Royal Blue Hyssop Cleanser
How I find it
The tub has a separate lid to prevent the cleanser from drying out. The cleanser looked boring in the tub, you have to mix it up and stir it with the spatula provided to “whip up” that mochi texture. Once the seemingly solid cleanser is mixed up, the texture loosens up and becomes stretchy and slightly gloopy. When you play with it between your fingers you can feel that spongey, mochi texture. You can use these cleansers as your first and/or second cleanse to fully remove makeup, sunscreen, and excess sebum. You can also use it as a mask, to cleanse deep down into the pores.
Let’s have a look at the Fresh Green Cleanser first because this has been all over my social media. This reminds me of a Lush Cleanser. If you are in NZ or Australia, you would have heard of Lush and may have tried their fresh cleansers where they make fresh batches each week or something. The dull brownish green cleanser has a slightly gummy and spongey texture. I usually use cleanser over damp face, and once this product touches water, it starts to emulsify and turn white. As you rub it, it begins to loose it’s mochi-like texture. To achieve that stretchy look all over Instagram, you need to use a large amount of product over dry skin. Pile it on and press the cleanser instead of rubbing it in.
However, I assure you, you only need a small amount of this cleanser to effectively cleanse the skin. I much prefer to build up a lather for a cleanser with some water. As a mask, I do not see any particular special effects compared to using it as a cleanser, it just uses more product and is good for a photo or two.

Let’s move on to the Royal Blue Hyssop Cleanser. This beautiful blue cleanser looks like the ocean and its very pleasing to look at. This one is smoother in texture as you can see, but the gummy, spongey texture is the same. You use it the same way and it is gentler than the Green Fresh cleanser.

Overall
Both of these cleansers are quite nice and they are very similar. The same spongey texture and gummy consistency. They both cleanses very well but I would prefer to use a cleansing oil or cleansing balm to remove my makeup first because I prefer the smoothness of an oil or an oil-balm on my skin to gently work the makeup off. I prefer to use this mochi cleanser after I’ve worked it into a gentle lather instead of just applying the cleanser right on my face and then massage it out.
It does give you a good clean and if you are experiencing dryness after using this, it is probably because you are either using too much, or it is not right for your skin type. I would say both the green and blue cleanser are good for combination-oily and oily skin, but I have yet to try the other colours so I’m not too sure about those.

Arencia Fresh Green Cleanser
I would say I could use these cleansers again, but I would try it in a tube which is a lot more convenient for me because I usually use a deep cleaning cleanser at night time and I ususally wash my face in the shower. Opening this tub in the shower isn’t the best practice I think so I would focus on using this at the sink and probably as a cleansing mask instead.
