Where I got it
A couple of years ago, I saw a friend’s post on IG of a Jo Malone Lavender pillow mist and I asked her about it. She told me it was a limited edition product and it has been sold out already. Ever since I have been looking out for new pillow mists to come out. When I saw in the Jo Malone newsletter that a new pillow mist collection is launched, I immediately wanted some. Jo Malone does not have an online store platform in New Zealand, you can only get them via Smith & Caughey’s website or Farmers.co.nz. Otherwise, Jo Malone does have a physical shop at Britomart Auckland. This is also where they take phone orders. I called them up one day and Elaine was very helpful in telling me how their phone order works. So I requested the items I wanted, and I tell her my delivery details and email address. She sends me a secure payment link via email. So I paid for it right away and once that clears, they ship the products out.
The Pillow mists are $72 each and Jo Malone offers samples for all orders – online or in-store. My order was delivered the next day and I was impressed. It arrived in a large cardboard box and inside there is packaging paper protecting the Jo Malone paper bag. Inside, we have a Jo Malone box along with a mini bag that had deluxe samples and a hand-written note from the person who took my order.

What I got
These are the Jo Malone London Night Collection Pillow Mists in Lavender & Moonflower and Moonlit Camomile (both 50ml). Collection also comes in Lavender & Moonflower Diffuser (165ml $177) and Moonlit Camomile Cologne (100ml $255).

How I find it
First of all, I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service of Jo Malone at Britomart. The package arrived overnight, neatly packaged and everything came in a Jo Malone paper bag, There was a hand-written note along with a mini bag with 2 deluxe-sized samples inside. The pillow mists are snugly packed into a square box with tissue paper. Inside the box, Elaine has included two extra packets of body lotion samples.
Let’s get to these pillow mists. I picked up both versions and they look exactly the same with a deep blue round glass bottle and silver lid. They both smell very relaxing and soothing, but they are quite different. I prefer Moonlit Camomile over the Lavender one, but both of them make me feel relaxed and I love them as an overall room spray. Moonlit Chamomile is also available in cologne so you can wear it out and it would be longer lasting.

Overall
I am very happy with these pillow sprays and just one spritz over the pillow would be enough. I also love to use this in pajamas or as a nighttime fragrance after showering to relax and just smell great. Personally, I find it no problem to use the pillow spray as a perfume to wear out during the day! I am also very happy with the customer service with Jo Malone NZ and I will definitely repurchase from them in the future.
