Naturallogic Atmosphere Balance + Clarify Nutrient Mist

Where I got it

Naturallogic Skincare has been on my radar for a few months now and I blame Gillian or @Growintoyourglow on IG. She raves about their products, mostly Atmosphere and Elemental which are her top recommendations from them. I was lucky enough to grab a bottle of the Atmosphere from Gillian as she had a spare and she offered it to me for $50 which I thought was a good price to try out the brand. This is USD$48 from their website.

Naturallogic is a skincare brand that combines the elements of holism, nutrition and herbalism, and refining them with the scrutiny and innovation of modern science. Each and every ingredient in their potent recipes serves a purpose for your skin, working with it naturally, nutritiously, and unforced, feeding it a nutrient dense diet from surface to cell, for healthy, thriving skin. Their products are 99%+ bioactive, highly concentrated, gentle, broad spectrum recipes.

What I got

This is the Naturallogic Atmosphere Balance + Clarify Nutrient Mist (118ml). ATMOSPHERE’s alcohol-free, concentrated botanical formula is designed to balance skin’s moisture, restore skin to a healthy pH, tone the appearance of pores, and lend daily hydration. Rich in vitamins and antioxidants, it calms redness and irritation with ease, while improving tone, and keeping both oily and dry skin in balance, revealing fresh, vital skin, ready for the next step in your ritual.

Ingredients: Citrus Aurantium (Neroli) Distillate, Pelargonium Graveolens (Geranium) Distillate*, Calendula Officinalis (Calendula)*, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Arctium Lappa (Burdock) Root**, Urtica Dioica (Stinging Nettle)*, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Extract*, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Matricaria Chamomilla (Chamomile), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice*, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Distillate, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Allantoin, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), Vegetable Glycerin, Leucidal (Radish Root Ferment Filtrate).    *Certified Organic ** Wild Harvested

How I find it

I was both excited and didn’t know what to expect from this nutrient mist. First of all, I don’t use most on a daily basis so I don’t know what to expect in terms of efficacy. But I do know when best to use it. I cleansed my face and put a generous number of spritz all over my face right away. You are supposed to spray liberally until your skin is damp. Not just a feeling of misted, but damp. Therefore this spray is not a fine mist, but a medium force spray.

The first impact I had with this spray was how evenly it sprays despite not a fine mist. It is quite a strong spray and when it gets into my nose, the strong scent does sting my nose a little. It covers my face evenly with no squirting at all. It smells amazing of Neroli and Geranium distillate. I really do need to spray from higher up and not direct it from under my nose and I have to be mindful of when to breathe in after spraying.

Besides that, my skin felt so hydrated and I quickly apply my serums and moisturisers while my skin is still damp. This way, the mist helps the serums absorb faster and penetrate deeper. My skin just drinks it in! I wasn’t able to tell the balance and clarifying benefits of this mist yet, but I would like to give this a fair go for at least 6 weeks before I give my final thoughts.

Overall

If you are a lover for Clean Beauty, I think Naturallogic is a nice brand to try because I have heard so many good reviews of their products – mostly of there Elemental Red Wine Essence and their Unmask hydrating charcoal mask (both of these I have ordered from Boxwalla, but yet to be delivered). I will do another dedicated post of the review of those two together when I get some use out of them.

Otherwise, I think overall I really enjoyed the use of this mist, it really hydrates my skin and does not cause any irritations and breakouts. I love using my serums directly while my skin is damp from this mist. It smells wonderful!
