Where I got it
I was given this as a gift from my friend on IG. I have been buying from her, skincare products from brands that are not readily available in NZ and they are based in the UK, US, and around Europe. The brands I have hardly heard of, but apparently have a cult following. Mainly clean beauty or made from natural ingredients. Not that I am strong on “natural” products, I do believe that there are good and bad things in nature. Some ingredients are natural, but they can be poisonous or irritating. Scientific research and technology provide effective and efficient skincare products so I agree with both sides. I just want effective skincare that doesn’t cost the earth – money-wise and literally the earth and everything living on it. Anyway, I’ve diverged elsewhere, this body oil is RRP AUD$40.00.

How I find it
This product comes in a glass bottle with a plastic pump, and I hate to be critical, but the pump is a little too small. When you are applying oils to your body, your hands are slippery and it’s harder to grip the bottle. I would prefer a proper pump where I can stand the bottle down and pump. Other than that, the oil feels really nice on the skin and despite being a concoction of so many different plant-based oils, it does not feel greasy at all. It smells lightly of citrus and is not the sort of orangey, lemony citrus scent, it is more of a sweet citrus scent. I love using this after a shower to lock the moisture in and I can get dressed immediately after.
Overall
I really appreciate all the lovely ingredients in this body oil and it makes my skin so smooth and soft afterwards, but I highly recommend using this right after a shower while your skin is still slightly damp so you can lock the hydration in. I feel that the occulsive body oil will seal in the moisture, only if you have moisture to begin with. This is very lovely product and I will definitely use this up!
