Holika Holika Nabi Cream

Where I got it: I ordered this on eBay for NZD$12.19 on 10/1/17 and it arrived on 7/2/17 with free shipping direct from Korea.

What I got: This is a 50ml tube of Holika Holika Nabi Cream with SPF25 PA+. This lavender shade is called “cottony”. It also comes in a pink and a peach shade. On the website, it claims to: provide natural skin radiance, firm and strong coverage (firm??), whiten skin tone, moisturise and smooths dry skin and is paraben free, mineral oil-free, alcohol-free, etc.

How I find it: I use this more like a colour-correcting sunscreen either under my foundation or on top of my moisturiser as a sunscreen with no foundation on top. I squeeze a few lines on my index, middle and ring finger then press them onto my forehead, cheeks, nose and chin area then blend. I add a bit more onto my neck and jaw area as well as I needed to. The formula blends out easily without giving my skin an obvious white cast or streaks. The lavender shade helps my skin look much more radiant and glowy without being shiny. It helps to even out my yellow or dark areas and make them appear brighter. As you can see in the image below, it brightened up the back of my hand so well but it’s not like a white pigmented cream if you know what I mean.

Overall: I love this cream or primer, whatever it is supposed to be. I like to use it as a colour-correcting sunscreen to give me a bit of radiance without washing my complexion out. The texture of the cream feels really nice and it’s not thick on the skin at all. It blends out smoothly without stickiness or feeling slippery. It doesn’t fall into lines or accentuate pores. However, it doesn’t really moisturise nor mattify the skin. It’s just a colour correcting cream in my opinion. Would love to try out their other shades since they are so affordable.
