Unboxing Lust Have It! May 2016

Where I got it: I was sent the May issue of Lust have it! subscription service. Lust have it is a subscription service providing beauty samples. For $19.90 each month, you will receive 5-6 deluxe sample sized beauty products where at least one of them will be full sized!

What I got: This is the May issue of the Lust have it! It came in a pink mesh bag with an information card. This month is is a mixture of makeup, hair care, and nail product with brands that are new to me and brands I have tried previously. Let’s take a look what’s inside this month’s bag/box!

How I find it:

Teeez Cosmetics Spectrum of Stars Eyeshadow in Apricot Sheen (RRP$29 from www.teeezcosmetics.com). A curious array of intensely, eye-catching hues add intrigue to any outfit. Some are double changeant, others are triple. They are all exquisitely crafted finishes from shimmering to metallic to high gloss. In a kaleidoscope of sublime colours with staying power. Including Argan Oil with anti-aging properties to moisturise your skin for a smooth texture.

This eye shadow and packaging looks amazing! It is a peachy metallic with a hint of green in it. It glides on smoothly and it not chalky whatsoever. Love this eyeshadow and would like to see more different shades they have to offer!

PHR Recovery Leave-In Moisturiser (15ml deluxe size. $35.95 for 125ml from www.phrprofessional.com). Uniquely rich natural leave-in moisturiser designer to seal in hydration and help protect hair against damage from heat styling appliances, It renews brittle hair and leaves hair beautiful looking, full of luster and bounce. It feeds the hair with essential vitamin and proteins to maintain health and shine.

Have been applying this leave-in moisturiser for a few times already. 15ml will actually last me at least 4 applications and I have long hair! It smells really nice – like coconut. It is hydrating, but not greasy on my hair. I apply this to towel dried hair, let it sink for about 3-5 minutes while I do my skincare after a shower, then I blow dry my hair. I can apply a little bit more to smooth any fly-aways after blowdrying too!

Urban Skincare Co. Infuse Body Balm. I have tried this before and it smells quite refreshing. It is more of a lightweight body lotion rather than a balm as such. This little bottle will last me a while, but during winter months, I need something much more moisturising and rich to keep dry skin at bay!

Razzamatazz Perfectly Matte Opaque Leggings ($11.95). Say hello to comfort! The unique Razzamatazz No-Dig waistband gently hugs your waist and moves with your body so you feel good as you look.

This pair of legging are actually very comfortable! I am nearly 5 months pregnant with my second baby and the waist part of these leggings are so complementing my bump and does not dig into my skin. It is opaque, but not too thick. It hugs my legs and thighs really well and seems to do a good job at keeping all the jiggly bits in place.

Lollipops Baume Grenadine (RRP$7.45 from www.lollipopmakeup.fr). Creamy lip balm and rich in shea butter, macadamia oil and vitamin E. With restoring and nourishing properties while gentle on the lips. Red shiny finish with an irresistible sweet smell.

Very cute packaging and packs quite a bit of pigment! I use it as more of a lip balm with a hint of colour. The shade is just perfect for me for everyday use. It is not too opaque and not too wish-washy. It is a little glossy which I would prefer a little less gloss, but it is not sticky on the lips which is great.

Starlooks Luxe Longwear Eye Liner Pen (RRP$20 from www.starlooks.com). A staple product for every makeup lover, this felt-tipped pen makes it impeccably easy to create flawless eye lines of any variety. Whether daily, nightly or anytime in between, Starlooks Eye Liner pen enchances all eye colours, shapes and sizes with its exclusive comparable pro formula.

Its a really nice felt-tip liquid eyeliner in brown. I wasn’t expecting much for this product, but when I learned that it is brown I instantly want to wear it because I love a good eyeliner, but sometimes black can be a little stark when you are not wearing a full face of makeup or any eye makeup at all. This is a dark brown which is very smudge-proof. I swatched it on the back of my hand and removed it with my trusty cleansing oil – it took a bit of work to remove it all! The pigmentation is good and there is no dragging and it does not feel dry at all.

Overall: Quite a nice bag this month I would say. Most of the products I have found use of and the colours are complementing for me. There wasn’t any skincare in this month’s bag, but that’s not too much of an issue for me. I love the shade of that eye shadow and those leggings are so comfortable and I will be wearing more of it this winter! The total value of the products in this month is quite good – $68.40 for full sized products (which is a majority of the products).
