Neutrogena Naturals Fresh Cleansing + Makeup remover

Where I got it: I got this from Beauty Review for trial and review.  I see this in supermarkets, Farmers, Life Pharmacies, pretty much everywhere for about $4.75.

What I got: This is a 177mL pump bottle of Neutrogena Naturals Fresh cleansing + makeup remover.  This contains no harsh chemicals, sulfates, parabens, petrochemicals, dyes and phthalates.  This claims to completely remove makeup and gently cleanse.

How I find it: It smells like apples and I love it! I was a little skeptical of all cleansers that calls themselves makeup removers and cleansers, I always believe in double cleansing. I was wearing light makeup today so just concealer under my eyes, blemish concealer to my blemishes, brow liner and a bit of blush.  I dampen my face with warm water and mixed one pump of the cleanser in my palms then massage my face.  It didn’t build much lather, but it did make my skin feel clean after washing off.

Overall:  I did try the effects of the cleanser in regards to its effects on make-up removal.  This works well as a make-up remover if you are wearing heavy makeup or waterproof foundation, but if you are only wearing a tinted moisturiser then I think it would do a good job.  I usually would trust Neutrogena to provide safe and effective products, but I do think I would enjoy it as a facial cleanser instead.

Purchase? Maybe not because I do have a light makeup remover that I really like (Bioderma cleansing water) and for heavier makeup I opt for oil removers.  But I may try their other products in the naturals range. 🙂 Thanks for reading!
