Where I got this: I got two bottles of this actually, about a month ago. Farmers was having a buy 1 get 1 free promotion and I had a $20 voucher to use. The RRP is about $23 per bottle. You can get these from many pharmacies.
What is this: This is a 30ml bottle of certified organic rosehip oil with a dropper. This oil is suppose to be non-comedogenic (does not clog pores) and helps with acne scarring, age spots, fine lines and evens skin tone, etc. The oil is very fluid and yellow/amber in colour. Some people doesn’t really like the smell of it.
How I find it: I use this after my toner in replace of any serum. Just about 4-5 drops on my palm, rub it together and massage it onto my face. I actually really love the smell of rosehip oil, I find it really soothing. It goes on really smoothly, without being sticky, but it does take a while to be absorbed into the skin. I let it skin for a few minutes while I do my eye cream. Then I put my moisturiser on top.
Overall: I believe I need to use this persistently for a while to see the effects for improving my acne scars. But at the moment, I am very happy with it! It makes my skin feels really smooth, no over drying and not greasy.
It didn’t cause me any breakouts if you are worried, but what I do really suggest is if you already have combination skin and acne scarring, you need to make sure you clean your skin well and exfoliate about 2 times a week before you pile on more serums/oils/moisturisers. If you don’t clean your skin and exfoliate, the oil/serum will just mix with your dead skin cells and make you break out even more!
