Shiseido Minimalist WhippedPowder Blush

Shiseido Minimalist WhippedPowder Blush

Where I got it: So after my first lipstick from Shiseido’s new makeup collection, I was very drawn to the rest of the products they launchedS. This WhippedPowder Blush I got from Farmers is $51 and it comes in a total of 8 shades.

What I got: This is the Shiseido Minimalist WhippedPowder Blush in Setsuko 07. This blush uses breakthrough AirFusion Technology to blend effortlessly across the skin. The mousse-like texture transforms into an ultra-thin, featherweight powder with a soft matte finish that lasts eight hours. Available in eight vivid shades inspired by the House of SHISEIDO’s muses and collaborators of the past and present. Dermatologist-tested.

How I find it: This is like a mousse blush with a super airy texture. The little glass jar is weighted and sophisticated along with the matte black and red lid. Under the screw top lid you will find a small white stopper cap that prevents the product moving around and possibly leaking. Do not throw this piece away!

You can pick up the product with your fingertips and blend it onto your cheeks or you can use a beauty sponge or a fluffy brush to apply the product. I prefer my fingers to blend as I can get more control and less wastage. It has a beautiful soft focus look that feels powdery light and soft. Blends out like a dream and it can even blend evenly over setting powder!

Overall: Absolutely love this blush, the texture, the formula, the colour and the packaging! The price is on the high-end spectrum and there is only 5g of product, but a little bit goes a long way so this will last me a very long time (before it dries out). The longevity of the blush is impeccable! It stays on my face for the whole day without looking patchy. I would say this is definitely worth the splurge if you have the money to spend, otherwise, a good drugstore alternative would have to be the Maybelline Dream Matte Blush. It has a harder formula but is still a soft focus blush look with an ultra-light feel on the skin.

I have also got the Aura Dew from Shiseido which I will be reviewing next so stay tuned!
