L’Occitane Terre de Lumière L’Eau Radiant Balm

Where I got it: I got this from my local L’Occitane store in Botany Town Centre for $18.00. During Christmas time L’Occitane has so many different gift packs to choose from for a range of budget.

What I got: This is a 30ml tube of the L’Occitane Terre de Lumière L’Eau Radiant Balm. Treat your skin to a special sensorial moment with this illuminating balm. Enriched with lavender honey from Provence, its iridescent, moisturizing formula softens the skin and leaves it luminously fragranced with the unique and addictive notes of Terre de Lumière L’Eau.

How I find it: Usually, this packaging from L’Occitane would be a hand cream, but with this new fragrance (Terre de Lumière and Terre de Lumière L’Eau) they have just launched this is the new Radiant Balm for hand and body. It is said to have an iridescent glow and a light fragrance, but for some reason, my little tube did not have any iridescent in it whatsoever. I wasn’t expecting a shimmery glow like a highlighter, but it didn’t have anything in it! However, the balm does smell nice and feels hydrating to the skin.

Overall: Besides the disappointment in the absence in the iridescent department, I quite like the texture of the balm and the scent. However, I would say this is more of a gel instead of a balm as it feels fresh on the skin and feels kind of watery and is absorbed quickly. I like to put this on my wrist and my neck which are the pulse points where you usually put fragrance on. The fragrance doesn’t linger on for long though. Last thing to mention is how much I like the packaging. The small little tube can be put into your handbag or in your car for a quick retouch of the fragrance and glow (if you get any). They also have one in the original Terre de Lumière Perfume (pale gold packaging).
