Chi Chi Fibre Brow

Where I got it: I got this online from NZsale for $9.99. Chi Chi products are available from Farmers for $24.99.

What I got: This is the Chi Chi Fibre Brow in Black brown. Chi Chi’s Fibre Brow is an all in one buildable brow product that colour corrects, fills gaps and helps create perfect eyebrows in a natural looking finish. The long-wearing formula contains special fibres which add thickness and volume to brows. Also available in 5 other shades. Black Brown is the darkest shade.

How I find it: I have black brow hair and they are quite sparse at the ends and at the head of the brow. I usually fill in my brows with either a pencil, a powder or when I have time I will use a brow tattoo product. Then I will use this Fibre Brow all over my brows to create a fuller, fluffier brow look. I don’t always opt for the full brow look so sometimes I just use this on the ends of my brow to create the look of more brow hair. However, since this is the black-brown shade, it tends to be a bit dark and it will look weird if I were to do a dark grey brow colour.

Overall: I like the small wand and the formula. It is not waxy or too wet. It applies easily and doesn’t run or get crusty. The wand does pick up a bit too much product though, so I always have to wipe the tip off a little then apply. Otherwise, I will get little blobs of product on my brow or skin. It is also a good brow mascara to darken lighter hairs if that is what you are after. Overall, I quite like it and since I don’t have a similar product I will keep reaching for this until I try something else. I heard that the Benefit Gimme Brow and Glossier’s Boy Brow are pretty good. I must try them one day. Are there any brow fibre products you would recommend?
