Where I got it: I ordered this online from the Paula’s Choice AU website for AUD$41.00.
What I got: This is an 88ml bottle of Paula’s Choice Resist Daily Pore Refining Treatment 2% BHA. A daily leave-on liquid exfoliant with BHA that offers multiple benefits for those struggling with visible signs of sun damage, ageing, bumpy skin, and enlarged clogged pores. Suitable for combination skin.
- Targets multiple signs of ageing
- Visibly reduces pore size
- BHA gently and naturally exfoliates skin
- Lightweight liquid formula
- Use once or twice daily after cleansing & toning
How I find it: I have been using Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA liquid for a long time now (this is my 3rd or 4th bottle with each one lasting me at least 4 months or more) and I cannot live without it. I tried to stop using it for a week or so and my pores and blackheads get a little out of control. This time, I’m trying a different BHA liquid from PC – this one from the Resist line and it is pore-perfecting as well. The ingredients list is significantly longer but the claims on the bottles are pretty much the same. Anyway, I use this after cleansing and toning, I use a cotton pad and sweep it all over my face and neck. Leave that for a minute or so before applying anything on top.
Overall: I have recently finished the first bottle and I actually would prefer my old 2% BHA liquid over this. The texture of both are similar but I find that the 2% BHA liquid seems to be effective in cleaning my pores. Also, it has more product and is less expensive. I’m not saying this product is bad or that it doesn’t work, it does help clear my pores and skin but I didn’t see much improvements in the size of my pores. I will finish the second bottle and will go back to the 2% BHA liquid.
