Where I got it: I got this a while back on a website called Althea for $24.50. They stock heaps of Korean skincare and cosmetic brands at very affordable prices and they ship direct from Korea.
What I got: This is a 1oz pot of the Dear Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream. A moisturising cream that provides the skin with intense, soothing hydration that also helps to recover damaged skin cells from stress and stimulation. How I find it: A beauty guru I subscribed to had a fantastic review of this product as a calming treatment to skin that is irritated, sensitive, or post peel or post acid treatments, etc. The fact that the cream itself is a beautiful soft blue colour (natural from the Guazulene ingredient, no artificial colouring) appeals to me a great deal as well. Since I use acids quite often, I think it would be nice to have something that will give back to my skin and calm any redness down. You can use this moisturiser on areas where your skin is sensitive or you can simply use it as an all over moisturiser. It has an almost gel-cream texture that feels fresh and light on the skin.
Overall: This cream looks and feels quite ordinary to be honest and there is no scent to it as well. I prefer to use it as an all over moisturiser especially when after I’ve used like an acid peel or enzyme face mask. Ive been loving the Ordinary AHA 30% & BHA 2% peeling solution and the Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask. I feel that this moisturiser feeds my skin back with soothing and nourishing ingredients. Not overloading or clogging at all. In fact, I needed a bit more on my cheek area where it is slightly more dry compared to the rest of my face. You could do so use this on the body where sensitivity occurs from sun exposure, wind exposure, rough and dry patches. It’s not a miracle cream that cures it instantly but it does help to soothe and moisturise.
I have been compensated for my purchase by Althea.
