Me Factory 3-step Pig Nose Pack

Where I got it: I got this on a website called Althea for USD$2.00. They stock heaps of Korean skincare and cosmetic brands at very affordable prices and they ship all the way from Korea.

What I got: This is the Me Factory 3-step Pig Nose Pack. A 3-step blackhead pack to remove blackheads and close the pores afterwards. The first step is a pore heating sheet to open up the pores, the second step is the pore strip to pull out blackheads, the third step is to tighten the pores.

How I find it: On clean, dry skin, I apply the first step which is supposed to heat up and open up my pores and soften the blackheads. Leave that on for 15 minutes and I honestly couldn’t really feel much heat on my nose. After removal, my blackheads look softer and pores a little wider. Then I wet my nose and use the pore pack on my nose, making sure the strip fully adheres to my skin. After 15 minutes, or when the strip dries, I start to peel it off from the bottom. This strip is quite strong and pulls out some of my stubborn blackheads. The strip did leave quite a few stubborn ones and I removed it with an extractor to help it out. They were relatively easy to extract. The last step is the tightening pack which just feels like a moisturising strip to calm the skin. Put that on for 5 minutes and then just tap in the excess product.

Overall: After using the 3rd step, my pores didn’t really tighten back until after about 10-15 minutes. No doubt it did remove my blackheads and lighten the colour of some of them to make them less obvious, but I don’t really see the tightening effect. I think I will get a better result if I use a chilled washcloth and then apply my Paula’s Choice BHA liquid to thoroughly clear out the pores.
