HZP+Co Lanolin Hand and Nail Cream

Where I got it: I was sent this for consideration from HZP+Co (thank you!). You can find this on their website www.hzp.co.nz for NZD24.50.

What I got: This is a 80ml bottle of the HZP+Co Lanolin Hand and Nail CreamRich lanolin based hand and nail cream that is fast absorbing, instantly softening and nourishing to the skin. New Zealand lanolin is universally recognised as the finest available anywhere in the world. Our sheep graze on some of the cleanest, greenest and least polluted pastures in the world.

  • Lanolin protects delicate, dry or chapped skin while Shea Nut Butter promotes healthy skin with an infusion of vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids.
  • Luscious green Avocado Oil is vitamin rich and packed full of essential fatty acids, the ultimate in retaining skin moisture balance.
  • The super shield of powerful antioxidant protection from Kiwi Seed Oil, Blueberry and Olive Oil promotes skin regeneration, boosting skin suppleness, resulting in a naturally healthy skin.
  • Kowhai, Horopito, Mamaku and Kiwifruit Extract provide the ultimate skin nourishment, antioxidant protection and skin conditioning while enhancing skin radiance.

How I find it: Cute little bottle design that is easy to pop open the cap and squeeze to get the product out. When I saw Lanolin, I was expecting a rather thick and balmy type of hand cream. But when I rubbed it on my hands, it feels fresh and light on the hand. It spreads easily whilst being moisturising at the same time. It smells like kiwifruit and I love that so so much! You hardly get much skincare or body products that have a kiwifruit scent. I just love applying this during the day!

Overall: Lanolin is great as a natural moisturiser and hydrator, but it can often get a bit greasy. I have a tube of pure lanolin when I started breastfeeding because I was having cracked nipples. It really helps to soothe and heal the cracked and broken skin. I don’t even need to clean the area before breastfeeding (applying a small amount of course). I use the pure lanolin when I have cracked heels, but to use it on my hands, it is far too thick, greasy and sticky. I am so glad that HZP+Co is able to harness the moisturising properties of Lanolin in this fresh-feeling lightweight hand cream.
