Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon

Where I got it: I bought this from my local Farmers for RRP $15.99 while they were having a buy 1 get 1 half price offer. I picked this up along with the Maybelline Brow Satin. You should be able to find Maybelline products in most Life Pharmacy, Farmers and supermarkets.

What I got: This is the Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon in Medium BrownGet the boldest brow in a New York minute with our first pomade crayon that sculpts, tames and colours brows. Fill in sparse areas with short, feathery strokes. The crayon is the easiest to use formula, for two actions in one stroke. The chubby tip allows for a bold colour deposit in one swipe FILL like a pencil and FIX like a wax. The result is full-bodied, perfectly shaped arches. Comes in Dark Blonde, Medium Brown and Dark Brown.

How I find it: I like to just quickly brush through my brow hairs with a spoolie to get them tidy (not that I have much, nor are they lo ng…) and clean (sometimes foundation gets on the hairs). Then I just use the crayon directly onto my brows. I like to start from the middle to the ends, and then go into the head of the brows but very lightly fill it in. Sometimes I will use a brow pencil at the head of the brows to create the look of brow hairs with small brushstrokes. This pomade crayon keeps the hair in place without making them feel hard and crunchy. It’s natural-looking and easy to use. You don’t need to use a brow brush at all if you don’t want to. However, if you do want more precise strokes, use an angled brow liner to pick up the product and apply them to your brows!

Overall: I actually had no idea that they had a dark brown which I would get if I s thaw it. The Maybelline stand was just a little cluttered when I was there. Nonetheless, I like the actual product. The convenience of a pomade in a crayon-like packaging, you just uncap and fill in the brows! You do need to make sure you rotate the stick often so you keep that pointed tip otherwise once the tip goes rounded you will need to use a brow liner to apply the product for precise applications. This pomade crayon is great if you need to fill in sparse areas or that you have overall sparse brow hair. If you need precise brush strokes to imitate real hair, it is best to use a retractable brow pencil that has a more pointed tip.
