Neogen Dermalogy Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Wine

Where I got it: I ordered this on eBay for USD$29.03 on 13/2 and it was delivered on 28/2. I have seen quite a few rave reviews for this product on YouTube and I searched for it on eBay and got myself a tub. It also comes in Lemon for Vitamin C to help with brightening and Green Tea for antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.

What I got: This is a tub of Neogen Dermalogy Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Wine (30 pads). This is the perfect exfoliator whether you prefer chemical or manual exfoliation. With 30 single-use exfoliating pads, this product provides gentle yet effective exfoliation of dead skin cells and impurities, leaving skin smoother and clear. Dead skin cells are sloughed off the surface of the skin using the unique 3 layer pad technology, as lactic acid penetrates deep into your pores to clean out pore-clogging debris. Its star ingredient, Resveratrol, comes from red wine and is naturally fermented, with naturally occurring AHAs that also help with the exfoliation process. Resveratrol is a powerful antioxidant which helps prevent free radicals from pigmenting or forming wrinkles on your skin.

How I find it: After cleansing and drying my skin, I take out one pad and put 3 fingers in the sleeve. I use the gauze side to gently exfoliate my face. The gauze size is quite gentle and just feels like a soft washcloth. The “wine” solution in the pad smells like grape lollies that you can get from a Japanese store and I love it! There is so much solution I use it on my neck, chest and even on the back of my hand. After exfoliating, I swap to the other side and apply the solution to my face by patting. I leave it on for a minute and then rinse everything off. After that, I continue with the rest of my skincare with a toner, essence and moisturiser.

Overall: I absolutely love the smell of these pads, they smell of grape lollies and is so nostalgic to me. I am quite surprised that the solution does not sink to the bottom of the tub and the pads are quite equally soaked through. None of that dry pad on the top and soaking wet pad at the bottom. The first application was really impressive in terms of ease of use and the area one pad can cover. The results were equally amazing. My skin felt cleaner, smoother, radiant and firmer after rinsing off. I think I will be using this every 3-4 days or when I think my skin needs a bit of extra cleansing and boost.
