The Chemistry Brand

Where I got it: I got this from the Deciem website during their Black Friday sale for USD$19.00. This bundle has a USD$70.00 value, which makes this around 73% off! I ordered this on 27/11 and it arrived on 1/12. Despite all the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, they managed to get me package from Australia to New Zealand within 5 days!

What I got: The Black Friday sale bundle includes a 100ml tube of Hand Chemistry, a 100ml tube of Heel Chemistry and a 240ml bottle of Hyaluronic Concentrate. Hand Chemistry is a line of award-winning skin care for the hands and body. Hand Chemistry’s active concentrates and revolutionary complexes are clinically proven to improve skin texture, firmness, hydration, elasticity and smoothness – just to name a few. All Hand Chemistry products are multi-functional and are designed and developed by type skin care experts in the field. Don’t forget your hands, body and feet as part of your daily beauty regime!

How I find it:

Hand Chemistry

Heel Chemistry (USD$17.00 for 100ml). Unlike traditional heel creams which focus on removing the hard skin, our 19.5% active complex hydrates the cracked skin topically whilst supporting below surface hydration to avoid the traditional hard skin cycle. Contains a marine complex clinically proven to improve visible skin texture and hydration, while counteracting extreme dryness. This formula contains no urea and no acids.

This heel cream is also white and has a creamy texture to it – quite similar to the hand cream. It smells different, though, of peppermint so it feels more refreshing. Recently I have been having dry heels and dry skin around my big toe for some reason. I applied this on my right foot for the first time after a shower and I can immediately see results! My heel is much more moisturised – I can no longer see dry, white flakey bits (ew, I know). Lately, I have been having dry heels and peeling skin around the ball of my foot and big toe. After using this generously twice a day for 3 days, it surely has improved.

Heel Chemistry

Hyaluronic Concentrate (USD$31.00 for 240ml). Contains an extraordinarily high concentration of nature-like hyaluronic acid, suspended in a base of skin-supporting red algae and tamarind. Continued use helps retain hydration while enhancing visible texture and delivery of actives.

This bottle of Hyaluronic acid concentrate comes in a gel-like form in a clear plastic bottle with a convenient pump dispenser. Looking more like a hand sanitising gel than a moisturising gel, this Hyaluronic acid concentrate is designed for hand and body use. I have been putting this on my bedside table because I like to moisturise my body and hand right before bedtime. This concentrate is also good at the vanity next to the sink where you can apply after washing your hands.

Overall: Nice hand and heel cream but I wouldn’t call them amazing or holy grail. They are rather pricey if they were bought the full priced in my opinion. The hand and heel cream have really nice texture and leaves a nice velvety feeling on the skin, but if you have severely dry or cracked skin, you really need to apply this constantly throughout the day and protect your skin from exposure to excessive washing or dryness. However, the Hyaluronic Concentrate is quite nice on the body. I love applying this on my legs, knees, elbow and ankles where it is dry, but not cracking. It is quickly absorbed and fresh to the touch.
