How I find it:

Be A Bombshell Mascara in Nightfall (RRP $21 from www.beabombshellcosmetics.com). A rich pigmented mascara with a volumizing formula that offers a multidimensional look. To make your lashes extra full and feathery, coat both sides of the upper and lower lashes. Apply two to three coats for a dramatic effect.

This mascara has really simply packaging and looks quite boring to be honest. It has a rather large bristle brush and the formula is on my dry side. Application to my short lashes can be a little messy and hard so I need to use a mascara guard. However, it does wear pretty good without melting to my undereye area. It volumize and holds my curls to a certain extent.

The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil (7ml sample size. RRP$54.95 for 30ml from www.thebodyshop.com.au). Infused with three precious seed oils: Black Cumin seed oil from Egypt, Camellia seed oil from China and Rosehip oil from Chile – a powerful blend of essential oils, we created a lightweight daily facial oil to intensely revitalise skin, instantly replenish moisture and revive radiance. Signs of ageing appear visibly reduced.

Having seen this in The Body Shop shop, this looks like a more premium quality skincare on offer. The packaging looks really nice and the texture and quality of the product is also very good. I have been loving using oils on my skin (restricted to night time only) and I have combination skin. I use about 2 drops of this oil after toning and essence lotion, then I can either skip moisturiser or apply a very light one.

Lanolips Lovely Lanolin Everyday Hand Balm (RRP$22.95 for 50ml from www.lanolips.com). An extremely moisturising hand and nail balm created for everyday use, using our Ultra Pure Grade lanolin. This nourishing and lightweight formula is quickly absorbed into the skin. Also contains rose oil and keratin for the nails. pH balanced.

Beautiful box packaging and the hand cream smells really nice. I know how amazing lanolin can be for the skin because when I was breastfeeding, I used a pure lanolin gel on my cracked nipples and they helped out a lot! This hand cream feels moisturising and makes me hands feel really soft. It takes a little time to absorb, but it doesn’t not make my hand greasy.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream (15ml sample size. RRP$24.95 for 50ml from www.thebodyshop.co.au). Rehydrates parched skin for a beautiful all-day glow with its delicate scent and downright amazing moisturising abilities, leaving skin feeling soft, refreshed and read for the day! Light in texture, like a lotion, so it is easily absorbed into the skin but has all the moisturising benefits of a cream.

I have used many Body Shop products before but have not used anything from the Vitamin E range before because I keep thinking that this is for dry or very dry skin and will never agree with my combo/oily skin. This cream has the signature Body Shop Vitamin E scent and this lovely pale pink (so pretty). I use a small amount all over my skin at night and to my surprise, it is not greasy or too thick at all! My skin absorbs it in, feels a little tacky but it does fade. The scent is not my favourite and it does fade soon after you apply it. It moisturises my skin throughout the night and my skin doesn’t feel dry when I wake up in the middle of the night.

The Body Shop Italian Summer Fig Eau De Toilette (1.5ml sample size. RRP$36.95 for 50ml from www.thebodyshop.com.au). Hand-selected from figs from the Puglian coast in Italy, where the sun-baked soils produce them in abundance and with a juicy scent that fills the warm air in summer. Picked at the height of summer when their aroma is the richest, and creates a succulent green scent.

Overall: Love the skincare items but not the perfume. Surprisingly the mascara is pretty waterproof and long lasting but the lipstick shade is a bit too old-looking for me. Total value of the full size products are $43.95, which does not include the deluxe sample sizes products and samples.
