Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Lip Conditioner

Where I got it: I was sent this for consideration from Antipodes. You can purchase Antipodes products from Farmers, department stores and online.

What I got: Kiwi Seed Oil Lip Conditioner. The Kiwi Seed Oil Eye cream was one of Antipodes top-selling products and now lips can benefit from the bioactive goodness of New Zealand kiwifruit as well. Kiwi Seed Oil Lip Conditioner is perfect to use as a primer and conditioner under your favourite Antipodes lipstick, or as an instant boost at anytime of the day. Its key ingredient is kiwi seed oil, which is ultra-rich in Vitamin C from the seed of the New Zealand kiwifruit. The high concentrations of Omega 3 in the oil extracted from the seeds of kiwifruit make it the perfect ingredient for natural skincare as it can dramatically help to maintain moisture in the skin. Kiwifrui seed oil contains around 60% of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), as well as being a rich source of Vitamins C and E. Only 1% of each luscious kiwifruit comprises seeds, and these tiny superseeds are expeller-pressed to extract their pure oil. This oil is then refined to ensure the qualit required for Antipodes award-winning skincare, without compromising any health benefits.

How I find it: Lip balms in a bullet packaging is really handy. You don’t need to get your fingers dirty, you don’t need to worry about long nails digging into a tub of lip balm, etc. You just twist it up, apply and pop the lid back on and you’re done. This little one fits into my makeup bag, my bathroom, or on my bedside table easily and it glides on really soft. Basically it melts on my lips (not to the point that it breaks!). I apply it on its own, under a lippy, however you usually use a lip balm to be honest. No real fancy way how I use it.

Overall: Love the melty texture that glides so soft and smoothly. It’s not oily on the lips and it doesn’t have a strong scent. I apply just 1-2 swipes if I am going to wear a creamy lipcolour because it can cause too much slip and slide and the pigment won’t go on easily.
