Unboxing Lust have it October 2015

Where I got it: I was sent the October issue of Lust have it! subscription service. Lust have it is a subscription service providing beauty samples. For $19.90 each month, you will receive 5-6 deluxe sample sized beauty products where at least one of them will be full sized!

What I got: This is the October issue of the Lust have it! It comes in a pink mesh bag but this time there was no card with information (I did receive an email with the information). This month is is a mixture of makeup, hair care, and ‘skin care’ with brands that are new to me and brands I have tried previously. Let’s take a look what’s inside this month’s bag/box!

How I find it:

Flormar Nail Polish (RRP$12 from www.flormar.com). Interacting with cuticles, it helps nails to grow healthy with vitamins, lemon and sweet almond oils. Also for a healthy nail exterior, helps you to push the cuticles bask and gives flexibility to the nail.

Unfortunately I don’t paint my nails so I cannot review this. 🙁

Bioderma Sensibio Light (15ml trial size. RRP$32.99 for 40ml full size). Sensibio Light is a daily soothing cream for sensitive and intolerant skin. Formulated for normal to combination skin, Sensibio Light soothes immediately the skin and helps reduce tingling and over-heating sensations. Thanks to its Toleridine patent, it helps increase tolerance threshold and reduce skin sensitivity on the long term.

This soothing cream is fragrance free which is great for sensitive skin. I keep this little tube in my purse or handbag when my skin is dry or reacting to something. It is lightweight so it’s not greasy at all.

Flormar Palette Eyeshadow (www.flormar.com). Italian brand Flormar has become an irrevocable brand in women of Turkey’s nail polish choice. Taking is sucess a step forward after a short time beginning to operate in Turkey. Flormar started to offer its product range from blush to foundation, eye shadow to mascara, lipstick to nail polish with high quality and budget prices to its consumers.

This palette has a nice mauve pink shade ont he top left, a nice off while shade with pink and glow micro-shimmer,  a soft brown and a pale pink shade with pink shimmer. The pigmentation with all the shades are good except for the bottom left – it took me several rubs with my fingertips to get a good swatch. It seems to stick to my fingers and not transfer to my hand. The formula is slightly chalky if you pick up too much product, but the texture is smooth.

Lust Have It Highlighter Compact (RRP$29.95 from www.lusthaveit.com.au). Get a luminous and radiant glow on your skin with the Lush Have it! Hightlighter. Highlight the skin with a wash of shimmering colour and create a youthful, and dewy complexion with this vegan and cruelty-free highlighter.

This is a basic hightlighter with a skin-toned base and silver micro-shimmers to create a nice glow. Quite a universal shade for all skin tones except for really porcelain skintones. Simple packaging with a large mirror inside. Easy to swirl with a large fluffy brush. However it does kick up quite a big of dust when swirled and is a little powdery when I swatched with my fingers.

Hair & Me Hair Rejuvenation Treatment (RRP$19.90 for 90ml). Hair & Me Hair Rejuvenation Treatment is 100% organic. It is an oil based product, using coconut, macadamia, jojoba and almond oil – designed to help repair, moisturise & strengthen your hair & scalp.

This hair treatment smells soooo good – like a coconut dessert! On the hands, it looks really oily and greasy, but once it goes onto my damp hair, it seems to melt right in and gets absorbed! I just hopped into the shower, wet my hair and apply this straight onto my hair and scalp. Massage and put it up for about 10 minutes while I shower. I didn’t leave it for 30 minutes because I can’t be bothered hopping out of the shower and wait 30 minutes then shower again. After 10 minutes, I just rinsed it off and do my normal shampoo. I didn’t even need to use a conditioner because I didn’t want to weight my hair down to much. From first application, I think it was alright, but I didn’t really let it soak in as long as I needed to for it to do all it’s magic, but it was good enough for me! It made my hair easier to dry and smooth after blow-drying! I would say don’t use too much and make sure you clean the shower floor otherwise it can build up.

 

Overall: This bag has got a got a good mix of products from skincare to makeup and also haircare. However, nothing really stands out to me or was really appealing. I was quite excited about the hair treatment, but with the wait time of 30 minutes for this treatment, it really put me off (who has time for a 30 min hair treatment??) Anyway, I like the highlighter, I can imagine using this for highlighting my body during the summer. So here comes the value for money calculations… from the full sized products I have in this bag, there is $61.85 worth of products. I haven’t even include the eyeshadow palette and the sample sized moisturiser. So it is pretty good value!
