Antipodes Chia and Kiwi Seed Superfood Serum

Where I got it: I was sent this for consideration from Antipodes. You can purchase Antipodes products from Farmers, department stores and online from 1st October 2015. This is RRP$49.50.

What I got: This is a bottle of Antipodes Chia and Kiwi Seed Superfood SerumCoveted chia seed oil blended with nutrient-rich New Zealand kiwifruit seed oil helps feed your skin to restore youthful vitality and natural sheen. This superfood serum is abundant in essential fatty acids that promote skin health and wellbeing by locking in moisture, and providing endurance against everyday stress. Gently scented with jasmine bloom and ylang ylang. Suited to most skin conditions, especially dry and flaky.

How I find it: It comes in a glass bottle with a dropper to dispense the product. The serum has a consistency and texture of an oil. I use about 3 drops of this oil after cleansing and toning, then I would follow with a moisturiser. I only use this at night because it seems little too moisturising for my combination/oily skin to use during the day. This serum smells really nice with a hint of sweetness to it.

Overall: I have been using this serum every second night for about 6 weeks now and it really is quite moisturising and hydrating. It feels slightly oily on the skin upon application, but once it is absorbed (takes my skin about a minute or 2), the skin feels supple and hydrated. I am really loving the chia seed ingredient in skincare products nowadays. I feel that my skin is getting older day by day and I need some good oils and antioxidants to keep ageing at bay. This serum is really good for dry skin and for combination skin, I like to use it every second night. If I use it twice daily it is probably too heavy for my skin type.
