Sukin Micellar Cleansing Water

Where I got it: I was sent this for consideration. You can purchase Sukin products from pharmacies, Famers and Health food stores. RRP$12.20.

What I got: This is a 250ml bottle of Sukin Micellar Cleansing Water. It is a gentle formula containing aloe vera, to sooth the skin and encourage hydration. TO complement Sukin’s micelles producing formula, chamomile and cucumber have been added to leave a calm complexion with no tightness or dry patches after use. Scented with a hint of vanilla extract, the Sukin Micellar Cleansing Water is gentl enough to be left on the skin after cleansing or it can be washed off.

How I find it: I use about 2-3 squirts onto a cotton pad then simply wipe my face with the cotton pad until all traces of makeup is removed. Usually 2 cotton pad is enough to remove all my makeup, but I use another one to just clean up anything I missed. This does not remove waterproof mascara so I use another product to remove my mascara (Benefit’s They’re Real remover is amazing!!). I often double cleanse, but if you don’t prefer to, you are more than welcome to because it cleanses well and you won’t be left feeling like you have stuff on your skin – no tight feeling and no greasy feeling. Just like water drying on your skin. Amazingly, I don’t even need a moisturiser afterward if I prefer to not!

Overall: I have loved micellar cleansing waters for a while now and have used a few different brands – the famous Bioderma is great, Garnier is also an awesome cheaper alternative! However, when I get really lazy, I use cleansing oil. I just use 2 pumps, step into the shower, massage the oil onto my face and rinse off (even removes waterproof mascara!). I have recently found a very good time to use it – when I come home from work, I usually need to look after my baby and I won’t get to shower and wash my face until about 10:30pm. However by that time my makeup would have all melted including my eyeliner and mascara.. causing me to look like an exhausted panda. So I use this after work, just wipe my face clean and off I go to help prepare dinner, bath my boy without needing to worry about turning into a panda! Doesn’t dry my skin out, and removes makeup nice and quick!
