What I got: This is a packet of Manuka Doctor ApiClear 3-in-1 Purifying Facial Wipes (25). The refreshing formulation goes straight to work to purify the skin by reducing oil and removing the build up of daily impurities and makeup. This helps to reduce the appearance of blemishes and leaves skin with a clean, calm and revitalised complexion. Manuka Doctor’s ApiClear 3-in-1 Purifying Facial Wipes is the perfect balance for the skins imperfections and contains New Zealand Manuka Oil, which is well known for its anti-bacterial properties to assist to balance and soothe the skin.

How I find it: I usually only use wipes for makeup removal and seldom for cleansing because I just love a good cleanser and a water splash rinse even in winter! So I have been using these wipes for makeup removal. They effectively remove light to medium duty makeup for example non waterproof mascara, pencil eyeliner, lipstick, bb cream, foundation, blush, etc. But if you have long wearing foundation or waterproof mascara and even Lime Crime Velvetines, you will need a bit of harder rubbing and spend more time on it. After removing my makeup, I will still cleanse my face with a cleanser, tone and moisturise.

Overall: The wipes have a strong scent of Manuka Oil which I love! There is enough product to remove makeup from the skin without feeling dry. It doesn’t sting my eyes or my skin at all but the sheets however has a rather rough texture so it may irritate sensitive skin. Gentle cleaning is needed around the eye area. Overall it leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh. I do need to cleanse my skin and moisturise afterwards.
