Unboxing Lust have it! November

Where I got it: I was sent the November issue of Lust have it! subscription service. Lust have it is a subscription service providing beauty samples. For $19.90 each month, you will receive 5-6 deluxe sample sized beauty products where at least one of them will be a full sized!

What I got: This is the November issue of the Lust have it! It comes in a pretty hot pink mesh bag with a gold zipper (great as makeup bags!). This month is is a mixture of skincare and makeup with brands that are new to me, brands I have heard of and brands I have tried previously. Let’s take a look what’s inside this month’s bag!

How I find it:

Essenzza Natural Japanese Silk Facial Treatment Masks (Citrus & Pineapple Enzymes and Moroccan Argan Oil & Vitamin C) (RRP $4.95 for 2). These are individually packed sheet masks – Citrus & Pineapple to Cleanse & Exfoliate. Moroccan Argan Oil & Vitamin C for Anti-ageing and Anti-oxidants. These masks are simple to use and east to remove – less messy than a traditional face mask allowing you time to relax and rejuvenate your skin. Simple peel off when finished. Suitable for all skin types. The masks comes in 3 layers – tear off the packaging and pull out the mask, peel off the pearly white plastic backing sheet. Apply the mask on the face, then remove the blue backing sheet. The mask sheet itself is really thin and soft, therefore the double layer protecting it. It adheres amazingly well, but the down side is the size of the openings and the cutting of the mask is a little weird. Asians do so much better in regards to the cutting of the masks! There is plenty of product inside, but it doesn’t drip off your face/mask. After about 10 minutes, I peel it off and rinse. It feels nice on the skin, but I don’t feel immediate amazing effects.

Aveda Color Conserve Daily Color Protect (RRP $49.95 for 100g). Helps preserve hair color for up to 6 week. Our 93% naturally derived leave-on treatment triple-protects your hair color with our powerfully effective, botanically-based color conserve complex. Larch tree helps seal in colour, while anti-oxidants from green tea helps protect against environmental stressors. Naturally-derived blend from wintergreen and cinnamon oil help protect hair color from UVA/UVB damage. This leave-in treatment is designed to be used on damp hair after washing. I have medium length hair, therefore I use about a $1 piece size and apply it all over my hair. This small little tube should be enough for about 3 applications.

Natralus Paw Paw Pure Gel (RRP $6.15 for 30g). Blazing a new trail in the skincare industry by combining the proven natural healing power of Organic Paw Paw, the soothing benefits of Organic Aloe Vera, with the added benefits of Vitamin E. Soothe and cool summer sunburn, relieve and hydrate skin irritated by sun-damage, dryness, rashes and minor burns. This little tub of paw paw pure gel feels like aloe vera gel. It feels fresh on the skin, unlike the paw paw ointment. It almost feels watery when on contact on the skin. I would say that it hydrates normal skin that get a little dry patches, but not dry skin that has dry, flakey skin. It is hydrating, but not very moisturising.

The Cosmetic Kitchen Pressed Mineral Blush in Sorbet (RRP $34.95). The Cosmetic Kitchen have taken the original qualities of their divine pure loose mineral blush, added a drizzle of jojoba oil for moisturizing and a pinch of some herbal extracts for extra goodness and created a color bursting first with velvet smooth – pure pressed mineral compact. When I first saw the shade, I thought it was quite light and nothing would show up. However, the shade looks perfect on my skin tone! It is a natural nude peach shade that can be worn daily.

So Susan Water-based Pure Luminizer (RRP $35). Infused with micronized pearlescent pigments to create the perfect wash of light on your cheekbones, brow bones and the natural contours of your face. Dab with your ring finger and blend out with a brush to create an ethereal luminescence and a diffused, soft-glow effect. This liquid luminizer has a very fluid base that is really easy to spread. The silvery shimmer luminizer creates a nice highlight on the skin. I squeeze a little amount on the index finger and dot onto the bridge of my nose, on my cheekbones and on my cupid’s bow. It doesn’t feel sticky of thick on the skin, but it can look a little too sparkly as in the shimmery particles are not that fine.

Overall: This month’s bag is pretty good! All of the products are full sized except for the Aveda Color Conserve and the Paw Paw gel. I was quite impressed with the liquid liminizer and the blush.
