On the Body Makgeolli Soap (RRP $12) Makgeolli is a milky white rice wine made from fermented rice, wheat, and water, and it has been the oldest alcoholic beverage in Korea (from the 10th Century). With the rising interest in “well-being” food or beverage in Korea recently, makgeolli has become a trend among the younger generations. Its health and beauty benefits come from the fact that it’s unfiltered which means it contains the lactic acid, fiber, vitamins, and the good bacteria also found in yogurt.   After cleansing face with lukewarm water 2~3 times, gently roll the soap bar with your hands onto skin 7~10 times. Create foamy bubbles by lathering it well and massage into the skin, moving from the inner contour towards the outer contour of your face. Then, softly pat all over your face 5~10 times to make sure the Makgeolli ferments soak deep into the skin. Rinse off to finish the cleansing routine.   After removing my makeup with a oil cleanser, I wet my face and hands with water, then roll the soap in my hands to create some lather. Then massage the lather onto my face and pat the cleanser on my face as instructed then rinse off. The soap lathers up very well and is quite slippery as well. No idea how effective it is to ‘pat’ the soap into my face, but it doesn’t hurt to do it. The soap has a strange and strong scent that kind of lingers after washing off. Overall, I quite like the soap in terms of its outlook, texture and cleansing properties.

Cleomee Three-Layer Perfume Donkey Oil Mist (RRP $59) This Three-Layer Perfume Donkey Oil Mist is a fragrant triple layer milk and oil body mist that provides an instant moisture surge with its organic mix. Can you imagine saying “Give me a sec, let me spray my donkey mist!” The donkey oil is basically an all-natural EGF complex rich in various nutrients, and the donkey milk with its milky goodness far exceeds cow’s milk and even goat’s milk in its similarity to mother’s breast milk. Both the donkey oil and milk are highly prized to have been the secret to Cleopatra’s beauty regimen.  Whenever your skin feels dehydrated, shake the bottle well to mix the 3 layers of oil together and spray it evenly from 15~20cm away from the skin.    Now the first time I used this on my arms, I sprayed it all over my leather couch and it created little spots which I cannot remove without using some water and tissues. I guess its the oil in the formula that makes it doesn’t evaporate entirely. What I do is I shake it up to mix the 3 layers (green, yellow and clear), then I spray onto my body (not face). Light spray is enough and I will spread it over my skin with my hands. The scent is nice, and it holds for a long time as well. Not sure what the donkey oil does and how it is extracted though.

Migabee Bee Venom & Honey Cream (RRP $54) A bee venom cream for moisturizing your face? It may sound a bit intimidating to some, but in fact this cream – rich in bee venom, royal jelly, propolis, and honey – is actually extremely gentle and works to soften and rejuvenate the skin! Not only will it moisturize and soothe but it’ll also brighten up the complexion and treat fine lines and wrinkles on your face. Apply the cream evenly over your face and let it soak into your skin. It is also recommended to mix in a drop of facial oil or ampoule with the cream to be applied as an overnight pack. This is a rather thick cream and feels a little sticky on the skin. I apply this at night after cleansing, toning and serum. I use my fingertips and dot the cream on my forehead, cheeks and chin. My nose and t zone area is oily therefore I usually won’t apply a dot on nu nose if it is something this rich. Probably good for dry skin because it does feel quite heavy on my combination oily skin.

Tonymoly Delight Tint Crayon 06 Neon Pink (RRP $8) Tonymoly presents you with the one and only Delight Tint Crayon that makes your lips glow-in-the-dark! It shows as a lovely pink under the daylight, but under the strobe lights, your lip will turn into a hot neon pink! Softly apply the lip crayon over your upper and lower lips. Multiple applications are recommended for a full, radiant lip. At first sight, the neon pink shade looks difficult to wear and definitely not a good shade for my lips. However, using the technique recommended on the card, the ombre effect made it so wearable and very summery. It feels fresh and light on the lips and not sticky at all. It stains the lips slightly but easily removed with tissue and some pressure. Has a slightly glossy finish to it and a slight berry scent.

Tosowoong Platinum Pore Tightening Pack (RRP $19)  Control oil slicks and dull skin from blackhead overload with this Platinum Pore Tightening Pack. Infused with platinum gold powder and tea tree oil, this pore tightening pack not only tightens pores, but it also gently removes all blackheads and impurities within the pores. Gentle enough for the most sensitive types of skin, yet powerful. Cleanse skin and pat dry with towel. Evenly distribute the contents onto face avoiding eye and mouth area and wait 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. This pore tightening pack is interesting. It is brick red in colour and almost feels and smells like a clay mask. I use about a size of a macadamai nut, avoiding the eye ares. After I put a thin layer of this mask all over my face, I wait for about 5-10 minutes until it dries up. The mask doesn’t dry to a tight feeling, nor does it crack or suck up oil from my pores. Rinse off is easy and it does leave my skin feeling clean. It does make my skin feel tight which is usually the case for clay-type mask where they suck up the oil and provide oil control. However, after applying toner and moisturiser that tight sensation is gone. After the first use, there wasn’t much difference noticeable on my blackheads. I use the pack 2 -3 times a week and found that it does help clear my pores, but not necessary tighten my pores.

Overall: The products in the Superbox are all full sized products. However, I don’t think all the products in there are all ‘OMG-worthy’. The Donkey Oil is quite strange, but I don’t see how the soap, the moisturiser, the lip crayon and the pore tightening pack is anything new/strange/OMG. Nonetheless, I enjoyed all the products! There is a total of 5 products. The box is beautifully packaged and everything in great condition. The total value of this box comes to $152! For just $23 you get a total value of $152!
