Paula’s Choice Resist Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum

Where I got it: I purchased this on the Paula’s Choice website as they are having this on sale and I had a $10 voucher from refer a friend offer (sign up using this link to receive a $10 discount for your first purchase and I will also get a $10 voucher too! Sweet right?) So this is the maths…. $30.00 – (20% off) =$24.00 – ($10 voucher) = $14.00 – (10% off birthday code) = $12.60 + ($15.00 shipping) = USD$27.60. Ebates also gives 5% cash back as well! So I paid NZD$33.99 after converted to NZD. Everytime I purchase from Paula’s Choice they offer 3 free samples, so I picked 2x Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Gel Exfoliant and a Resist Super-Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30.

Paula’s Choice Resist Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum

What I got: So I picked up the Paula’s Choice Resist Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum. This is the one without Retinol because I am pregnant and will be breastfeeding so I would avoid anything with Retinol. This serum is suitable for all skin types and it helps with anti-aging, brown spots and wrinkles. Resist Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum utilizes an innovative blend of ingredients that research has proven aging skin needs to look younger and feel its healthy best. Stabilized Vitamin C plus potent antioxidants in a silky base join ingredients that repair damaged cells and rebuild skin’s protective barrier so it functions optimally. This state-of-the-art serum efficiently addresses multiple issues that cause skin to look wrinkled while reducing inflammation and the visible effects of sun damage. This product is 100% fragrance- and colorant-free.

How I find it: I have tried this serum before from a sample I got and I really like it! I am a sucker for serums and I don’t seem to have any antioxidant serums in my collection yet! The texture has a gel-liquid texture and it has a slight yellow tinge to the clear gel. After cleansing and toning, I use about half a pea size of this serum (it is concentrate so you only need a little each time) and dot it on my cheeks, nose, chin and forehead with my fingertips then evenly spread it across my face. The liquid-gel texture spreads very well and a little goes a very long way (the amount I have on the back of my hand below is quite a lot). I also apply some on my neck separately. Then I will follow up with a moisturiser. It is highly recommended to use an SPF in the morning, especially with a Vitamin C product.

Paula’s Choice Resist Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum

Overall: I have to mention about the packaging of Paula’s Choice products. I used to own some of her older packaging and they were white bottles with simple black writing – not appealing at all. After repackaging, they have also introduced a range of new products and lines which became super appealing an refreshing! This antioxidant serum has a matte finish tube and a twist off cap which the bottle and stand on. The texture of this serum feels amazing! It feels almost like an oil on the skin but once spread out it feels like a silicon based primer but without the mattifying effect.
