How I find it:
Velourlips in Grandmaster Pash ($15.00) is a metallic version of the popular Velourlips. Velourlips are highly pigmented matte lip creams. I have yet to try the original Velourlips, but I am sold! They apply easily with loads of pigment, they feel light on the lips with a satin finish and is super long lasting! I wouldn’t say it has a matte finish, probably because it is metallic so there is a little bit of shimmer. I apply with the doe foot applicator directly to my lips – one application is enough, no need to dip it in and apply another coat. The velvety texture of this lip cream feels really nice! To avoid immediate tranfer, you have to wait for about a minute for it to set before you start drinking or eating. After about 4 to 5 hours, the lip color is still very vibrant, no bleeding, feathering or fading! It may have lost a bit of shimmer and a little bit of transfer from the inner rim of my mouth to the drinking glass, but I would totally expect that to happen. You do have to reapply after eating especially oily foods.

Nail Polish in Red Hot Chili Pepper ($10.50) This metallic red nail polish is a true red with shimmer. Formula is smooth and not lumpy. Applies smoothly without any streaks. Metallic finish makes it much less obvious if you make a mistake. I love using my Seche Vite top coat on top for fast drying results and long lasting nail colour without chipping.

Eyeshadow in Plum Diddy ($9.90) is a deep brick red creamy eye shadow. The texture of this cream eye shadow is very interesting, it feels like a sticky cream. It has a dark base with silver and red shimmers. After using an eyeshadow primer, I use my fingertips to apply the eye shadow. I like to dot the eye shadow on my lids and blend. I apply lightly to get a light wash of colour on my eyes. This eye shadow would be great as a smokey eye shade pairing it with a nude lip.

Overall: Love love love the Velourlips, I think I will head out and try the original versions! It is super pigmented, feels great on the lips, long lasting and best of all does not dry out my lips and does not crack! I seriously cannot say anything bad about this product! The nail polish was alright, nothing too amazing, its a great festive colour so I can imagine using this for a Christmas nail design. The eye shadow is pretty cool in texture, but it is not really my type of shade. If it was a shimmery brown or bronze shade, I think I would wear it much more often. Overall, the Metallic Edition seems pretty nice!
