Moisture Mist Christmas Special Bronzer Set

Where I got it: I was sent this from Moisture Mist for consideration. You can purchase Moisture Mist products from Farmers and selected pharmacies (from 1st November). This special set is RRP$39 (valued at over $63).

What I got: This is a Christmas special Bronzer Set with a Moisture Mist Translucent Pressed Powder (441 Bronze) and a Za Kabuki BrushSilky-textured with gold shimmer, the bronzer can be applied to your face, shoulders and arms, or anywhere for some sun-free colour! Its buildable coverage means that you control the intensity of your healthy, glowing skin. Use the ultra-luxe synthetic Za kabuki brush to apply your bronzer.

How I find it: This pressed powder comes with a flat round sponge applicator but to use it as a bronzer, I would use a contour brush. After my foundation and blush, I dip my brush in to pick up some product (very finely milled and soft), tap off any excess and apply to the hollows of my cheeks, around my temples and under my jaw. This bronzer has slight shimmers to bring some glow to the face. The bronze shade is a little on the yellow side so I find it not very suitable for contouring especially not for my nose contouring. The kabuki brush on the otherhand would be great for applying this bronzer on the temples, around the face and under the jaw area.

Moisture Mist Translucent Pressed Powder (441 Bronze)

Overall: The kabuki brush is sooooooo cute – I absolutely love it and I cannot bring myself to use it! The fibres are so soft and gentle on the skin. The pressed powder is really fine and the shimmer is also very fine so it doesn’t accentuate pores on the skin. A light hand is all that is required – it is better to build it up little by little for a natural looking tan/contour. The shade has a warm undertone and if I am tanned, this could just work perfectly as a foundation! Staying power is quite good and removal is easy with makeup wipes or cleansing oil, etc.
